Lexington Law was one of the first companies to offer credit repair services in the US. With 20 years of experience in the credit repair industry, Lexington law will represent you as you work to improve your credit score.

Note: on May 2, 2019, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau filed suit against Lexington Law and related firms. The suit alleges that Lexington Law illegally requested and received payment of prohibited upfront fees for its credit repair services and that the firm made deceptive representations in its marketing. The company denies these allegations and maintains that the rules it is accused of violating are obsolete and have not been enforced against or interpreted to apply to the credit repair industry. The court has not yet ruled on the issues of fact and law presented by this case.

Credit Repair Process:

Once a client, Lexington Law will pull your credit reports from Experian and TransUnion. They can also help you obtain the credit report from Equifax when you sign up.

Then, there is a "Case Setup" feature that lets you choose which inaccurate negative items you would like to challenge. Lexington Law representatives are available to assist you in determining this throughout the entire process.

After completing the Case Setup, Lexington Law will send challenges to the different credit bureaus, asking them to supply verified and accurate details about the negative items in question.

Credit bureaus have 30-45 days to investigate challenges and supply you with results and an updated credit report. Upon receiving the report, clients are requested to send it to Lexington Law for evaluation and continue with the challenge process if it remains unresolved in your favor.
