Latest ScoreSense Reviews
The company lures you in with an ad that says free credit scores and then charges you monthly without your impression that you signed up. Trying to get a refund is impossible.
$39.95 a month for Vantage 3.0 scores. Insanely overpriced. Everything on this site can be obtained free from sites like CreditKarma, CreditSemae, CreditWise from Capital One. The Vantage model is not what lenders use, so I don't understand why any company would charge a fee to show you your Vantage scores. Cancelation process was full of upselling and stalling tactics which was very frustrating.
This is a very good service, they are very helpful I would recommend them to my friends and family.
I was charged for a month's service when I did not sign up for it. I called to get the charge cancelled and was told I did not contact them within the time period allowed (6 days). I had originally signed up to get my scores based on a note from my banking institution due to a breach in their system. The cost was $1 and I accepted that. I did not sign up for any additional service. I feel ScoreSense was not clear in their offering and now I have had to pay $29.95. This is not right. Their communication about the monthly cost and cancellation was not clear and should have been more visible.
I have had scoresense for years. They are slow to update my credit report. I have had to call and remind them on multiple occasions. They always respond by trying to get me to pay more each month. In the current age nearly every credit provider is offering free FICO or other monitoring tool, scoresense is no longer a benefit to me. Today I just cancelled my membership.
