Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

Water heater problem was reported on Saturday afternoon. service was scheduled for Monday afternoon. The plumbers assigned were friendly and very helpful. They answered all of my questions. They completed the repair in less than an hour. I was hoping for permission to replace the 12 yr old appliance, but the repair will do. The guys did great work.
I just signed up and if the coverage is a good as the customer service then I’ll be extremely pleased. If they deliver on their promises for the price and coverage then I would recommend them to everyone .
Unfortunately the gentleman that I spoke with appeared to be in a hurry. Running thru the information and did not seem interested in allowing time to address my questions. He did indicate he spoke with someone else (manager?) and was able to provide service at a cheaper price. However, honestly, feel like that is just something to say and that higher price is quoted to allow for that follow up.
I have signed on with Choice based on some of the reviews that have been posted. If needed, hope that I am not disappointed in the service(s).
The representative that I spoke with to purchase a home warranty was extremely helpful in setting me up with the type of plan that would best serve my needs. He even overextended himself to offer me a policy for more than one year. When hearing that I could not afford the entire payment for the 6-year plan at one time, he went above and beyond to find me payment options to make the payment amounts more doable for me. Very good customer service.
My water heater started leaking and I submitted a claim with CHW. They responded very quickly and by the next day I had an appointment with a company to repair or replace it. It was diagnosed and recommended for replacement. CHW quickly authorized it and I had a new water heater in only a couple of days. CHW took care of my needs quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend them.
Terry patiently answered my many questions, and helped me understand the differences in the available plans.
I had to replace my dishwasher at a cost of $1099 - CHW only gave me a reimbursement of $591. When I purchased the insurance - I was told by the salesman that CHW would repair OR replace the applicance.
