Cancellation Policy

Select reserves the right to cancel the service contract in the event of fraudulent conduct or misrepresentations by the customer, failure to make the required payments, or upon agreement.

The customer may cancel the agreement within 30 days from the order date of the agreement and will be entitled to a full refund only if no service has been provided under the contract.

After 30 days, the customer may receive a pro-rated refund for the non-discounted annual plan cost. The customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee, plus any service expenses incurred by Select Home Warranty.

I was shopping for a new home warranty and contacted Select Home Warranty. Their sales representative, Bruce Allen was very knowledgeable and patient answering all my questions. Bruce went over the plans and was able to offer me very competitive rates and informed of a plan that by signing up to a long term plan I would be able to save more money over the long run. Let's hope the claim process goes this smoothly.

I had a blocked toilet on a Friday morning. Their plumber could not come until Monday. I called someone myself, they came 2 hours later and Select Home Warranty will reimburse me the expense, minus the deductible. I am satisfied with that.

Select Home Warranty All Military personal Warning dealing with this company will bring you nothing but MISERY!!! This company does not honor their contract statement. I had a contract with the company for several months, my garage door opener which is covered under the home warranty agreement broke. I was told by the company representative “ you will be charged $ 100.00 for the service call if it is determined that the unit cannot be repaired it will be replaced at no additional charge”. I had an electrical issue in my kids bedroom. No power to any outlet or the overhead light. The tech came out the next day and found a loose wire had burnt everything out. He replaced it all and was very pleasant and professional.

Fortunately I finally received my Contract. Thank you so much. The problem is, this was my third request for one. I don't consider three attempts satisfactory. Also, I will need to call somebody about the coverage you have. It appears to me that the most things that go wrong are NOT covered. I will call your office and go over my concerns nest week.
