Pinecone Research is owned and operated by New York-based Nielsen Company, LLC, a leader in market research. Pinecone works by sending its members online surveys to complete, each of which takes 15-20 minutes. They may also send short 2-5 minute questionnaires, though these are not compensated.

Features and Services

PineCone Research’s paid survey service functions as an invitation-only survey panel where new members can join upon recommendation by other members. Surveys are e-mailed to members, and they can choose what topic they are interested in.

I have done Pinecone surveys for over 15 years. Their payment plan and opportunities were superior to all the other survey sites I've done. Sadly, I cannot do them any longer. Their payment plan changed a couple of years ago when they stopped using paypal. Since then I haven't received a penny. I tried redeeming cash for whatever they offered: wallet account, mastercard virtual card. They owe me almost $100. for surveys I've done. I've tried to contact them several times and just get the same answer: 'contact our third party site to request your incentive'. 'Check your spam emails'.

I am a very enthusiastic panelist and could not access my account. My ID is not working and my password also not working. I have couple of dollars in my account which I tried to redeem, cannot make it because my account i blocked with unknown reason. I was told that I did not say the birth date of my profile but it is rediculous to say that I could not forget my birthdate. So, I think it is not a good gesture to harass a member. I requested several times to unblock my account. I already gave my date of birth, full bame, ID, address everything. But still they did not unblock my account. I don't know why it has happened. Please let me know the true gesture about this behaviour.

I've been a Pinecone Research member in perfect standing for many years. Suddenly, they won't allow me to redeem points, worth $27. Message keeps telling me, I'm not a member. Then repeated attempts to contact them result in failures. They won't even accept my messages on their contact page or by email. Seeing others speaking of similar issues. DON'T allow your points to add up! Cash out every single $3 that you earn. They WILL turn on you despite your years of sincere & thoughtful efforts on their surveys. I'll never get the $27 that I earned. Beware.

I was hacked, I was promised my points back, never received them. I did everything they asked to protect my account and now they do not respond to me and I am out a lot of points. I spent a lot of time doing their surveys and they can not even answer me.

This is a good sight to go on it does not ask random questions and does not make any calls
