Dashlane is the only password manager to have a U.S. Patent for the security architecture used to protect user information.

It offers the latest in online security to make password management and online checkouts quick and simple.

Dashlane is designed to keep personal information secure while making it convenient for the user to login with their account information across multiple websites and platforms.

Services and Features By Dashlane

Dashlane offers a secure password management solution which keeps track of and secures all passwords on several devices. It also keeps your accounts more secure by helping you generate unique passwords to protect your personal accounts and identity.

The password manager app keeps track of all passwords whether users access them daily or once a year. It makes this information readily available and automatically enters the passwords when needed.

Dashlane makes logging into your accounts quick and easy. Its auto-fill and auto-login features secure your important login and personal information and prevent it from being compromised on an unsecured browser.

With just a few clicks, users can instantly fill personal information fields such as addresses, emails, phone numbers, names, and any payment types stored in the Secure Digital Wallet. Auto-fill also works seamlessly with the software’s Password Generator making new accounts on any website in a safe, simple, and fast way.

Dashlane also comes with instant security alerts which notify a user when a website suffers a breach. Dashlane’s constant security monitoring keeps users informed by sending this through their devices. Information includes which accounts and passwords might have been affected by the breach.

Dashlane’s Password Generator Tool helps users create unique passwords. It is also equipped with a password changer that auto-changes passwords across hundreds of websites in a single click. Its secure backup and sync feature keeps passwords up to date across all devices. It automatically syncs after a user makes changes or additions with their login details.

In case a device has been lost, users may backup their passwords and recover their backup by simply logging into Dashlane using another device.

I actually loved Dashlane. I say loved in the past tense because one day last month when I went in to pull up a password it wouldn't let me in. I tried it on my iPad and my iPhone and both of them had locked me out - they didn't recognize my password. Odd, because I had used it the previous day. When I contacted Dashlane support they told me that somehow my account had been reset. What??? OK, then reset it, I told them. Well, they couldn't do that. So, that means that despite doing nothing on my side - it actually takes a bit of work to reset your account - it's not something you can "accidentally" do - all of my data was LOST. This was with the paid version as well. Can't... Read More

great 5 stars///when it works. it has issues at times and support, is not the best. you have to keep on them to get a response. usually issues self correct in time. you just never know when it will fail. from having install/reinstalling and other odd things that happen time to time. but currently the master password works for the online version and not for my desktop...this has been going on for almost a week..support they would escalate to the engineering dept. still no word on eta or if will be fixed. it is just painful trying to use online and getting passwords to paste but i got to work in another non approved browser it will fill in but i can't change or see the... Doesn't seem to be ANY WAY to contact the company - even with the paid premium account. What kind of company has NO technical support offered? Have had problems with syncing and can't speak to anyone about how to resolve it!

I have spent HOURS AND HOURS trying to sort out and correct my passwords since downloading DASHLANE. it is horrible continually generating passwords without my request for that action.... hate it.

Purchased Dashlane software based largely on online reviews. Installed fine, but unfortunately when I went to actually change a password, the menu option to do so was missing. Worked with Dashlane customer support opening two separate tickets, they had me waste hours uninstalling and reinstalling the software, to no avail. Never worked. Then when I asked for a refund, they refused. Worst experience with a software app in years.

I have used this for a few years. Sometimes I love it and sometimes I hate it.... lately the hating is winning. When it works it is great - autofills my passwords, maintains and autofill demographic info, stores credit card... but you never know when it is going to work and when you have to uninstall and reinstall, then verify (when the two boxes come up so you can). Tech support is quick to respond with generic attempts to solve the problem. I am giving up on this. I need something that work, especially when I am paying $4 a month.

Dashlane doesn't work with Firefox. They told me they had no idea when that would be fixed. I'd rate them with zero stars if you had that option. I like Firefox. I want to be able to use it again.

I've found Dashlane a good service but on July 26, 2018, I get notice that they are increasing the price to $4.99/month for things I don't need. I see no option to keep the current Premium plan at the current price. I will try to cancel my subscription, but that's not easy to see how to do. This is not good.

The product works well. It's not perfect though. There are glitches which will irritate you and other times features that will encourage you. My biggest complaint is pricing for individual Premium licensing. It has increased 50% between 2017 and 2018. Another annoyance is the fact that the renewal date shaves off one or two days every year. I know this is trivial, but with the increase in price and short-timing the subscription it indicates a business approach I don't particularly like.

They are only interested in your money. Be careful. No money no sign up.

There is no support for this program. So if you think you can wing it for yourselves, good luck. Our system has been down for over a week and there is no support telephone numbers or emails. The standard boilerplate emails are returned when you ask them a question. No response.

A recent update has removed the ability to bookmark pages on my android phone & there's currently no way to recover the pages previously bookmarked. There was no warning this was going to happen (that I'm aware of) so this is a great loss to me. Also, autofill frequently quits working on some sites with no explanation. Customer Support, which is normally excellent, hasn't been able to explain this problem & it's very annoying when that's supposed to be one of their best features. It does seem to be working fine on the laptop. I've also noticed that the password generator doesn't work on sites that require symbols to be used in a password.

I used the premium form of dashlane in the very early days. It might be more important to note that I have NOT been a customer for 5 years now and have instead done all of the password setting/resetting manually - terribly suboptimal. But that's how bad dashlane can be. Customer support - non-existent. You need help, too bad. I even upgraded my small company to dashlane premium plus (now dashlane business) so everyone had access to certain accounts. Great idea, but doesn't always work. Dashlane early days were glitchy. They're really best for enterprise level systems. Individual users, they're not super interested in you. Consider this - you as an individual have even more software and... Read More

It often crashes, and I have had 3 of my accounts hacked since I started using this. I'm going to have to delete it.

Used Dashlane for a couple of years with no problems and found it a great help in automatically logging into programs, syncing its data among devices, filling in personal data in forms, and supplying credit card data for purchases. THEN one day last week I went to use it on my cell phone and I got an error message that my Dashlane pw was wrong, and I couldn't access it. Tried my iPad, with same result. But it worked as usual on my desk pc. I then found out that the only remedy to getting it working again on all three devices was to RESET it which will keep my account intact, but DELETE all the pw data for almost 100 sites. There is no way to recover the working individual pw entries from... Read More

Dashlane is very good, but I think you should include custom fields as a reviewed feature. Dashlane does not have them while some others (eg: LastPass, KeePass, 1Password) do. Chuck Z: you can keep using the product for free but it won't sync across multiple devices. This could lead to passwords being wrong. For example, if you change a password on your laptop and then later use that site on your phone, your phone will still have the old password.

Using Dashlane is pretty straightforward. The security is awesome. Biggest drawbacks were that the program is a resource "hog" and will slow down your computer noticeably!

the manager works well, but their support staff receives a BIG 0. I have been waiting for 4 days for someone in their level 2 staff to contact me, and have decided to move on.

I've used Dashlane for 10 years or so, it doesn't work well with Microsoft Edge browser but other than that it is great. If they get the Edge problem fixed it will get a excellent rating from me.

I'd like to inform ANYONE reading this that last week on Black Friday I bought a new Mac laptop, to replace my older Mac laptop. I used a Time Machine to back up my work. The only thing not working was Dashlane, especially because I could not enter my account to retrieve my credit cards! Three (3) weeks before Christmas!!! "Peter" from Dashlane must have thought that I wanted a pen-pal instead of HELP!!!! Because for the past week I get a daily email from him with another "code" to be able to enter my account. NO ONE HAS CALLED ME TO OFFER ME EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE!!! After 5 years with Dashlane - where it is now not even working on my new android phone, I am READY TO QUIT THIS COMPANY WITH... Read More

Am a paid customer with Dashlane. Have used it know for about six months. Not all that impressed. Assigns a password, then locks me out. Will not sign in to the site, get oops seems like something is not right. Have checked both passwords on the site and in the Dashlane program and they are both the same. Then that means changing the password again. Should not have to be doing that. Then it does not work with all Canadian institutions. It will not allow you to log into the site from the software. I have to bring up the actual web page in order to log in. When I contacted the support at Dashlane, they said they were sorry that I was having problems. That's it, they were sorry. Really. Not...
