If your program is so good in your opinion, why so many bad reviews?
The Good Sam Travel Assist offer that was mailed to me as a Good Sam member was misleading. It falsely advertised benefits that were not included in the plan that was being offered for $59.99 discounted from $109.99. In the brochure, benefit #4 was listed as including my kids, grandkids, and pets traveling with me. However, I called to ask questions about the plans, because the plan advertised on the brochure that was sent to me was not on the web site, I was told that the plan at the price I was quoted did not in fact include this benefit. This company is a complete ripoff!!! I was told that I was signing up for a year of insurance and come to find out they were stealing money from me every month!!! I didn’t find out about it till my bank account went negative!! I called them and was told there was a $60.00 cancellation fee!! I couldn’t do anything about it cause they already had stolen my money from my account!!! Please don’t make the same mistake I made!!! They are very misleading and they will screw you just like they screwed me!!!
I needed a jump start. I used the number to call, was put on hold, told there was a 5 minute wait, 20 mins later disconnected, 3 more times, spoke with 2 people they had a poor phone connection and they hung up on me. This happened over the course of an hour, Sunday night in a sketch part of town. I downloaded the app as suggested and as I was filling out the form with my new card in hand the message on the app said "hmm we cant find you in our files", I tried calling customer service and was the same run around on the phone.
