I do not recommend this company they will tell you that your bills and business are covered and settled and then months later you will get a bill from a collectors agency and the insurance company will only continue telling you that it isn’t valid that everything is taken care of and covered while it’s continuing to effect your credit. They will no longer discuss matters with me because they are no longer my insurance company either. So I cannot get proof to give to the collection agency that everything is paid. If I could give zero stars I would because now I’m in “debt” due to no fault of my own and unemployed and cannot afford to Pay the bill and they are no help at all just have told... Read More

The worst customer service!! The only info customer service can provide is the exact same info you can access yourself on your online account. I was on the phone for over 2 hours and did not get the answers to the questions I was asking. I eventually asked for a supervisor and they just so happened to be in a meeting (anthem seems to have a lot of meetings for supervisors at least 3 or 4 a day!) When the "supervisor" called me back 3 hours later they again weren't the right person to speak to and then put me on hold for 30 minutes before I gave up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS INSURANCE TO ANYONE THAT MAY ACTUALLY NEED IT, if you have any sort of choice choose anything else.

go elsewhere. the mail pharmacy mail order company they use will refill prescriptions without your approval. and once the shipping label is created they will tell you its shipped and cant be returned. recent situation I called to stop a refill was told it was shipped and could not be stopped and I owed. I had tracking number and called UPS after that call. UPS confirmed the package had not been picked up. When I brought the situation to anthems attention they gave me a 800# to call. they did nothing else. if you an employer looking for coverage/plan for your business. stay away from Anthem

I changed from Aetna to Anthem this year, 2020. I am very happy I did! Within a month of the change, I received a call from an Anthem nurse. She wanted to discuss any health issues I have and provide information about their services. Since I had just completed my yearly physical, she was able to provide additional help in the area my doctor expressed concern. Next, I contacted the pharmacy division to set up my mail order RXs. The detailed help to guide my doctor to be able to file my new prescriptions was very good! The representative also set up my payment while I was on the phone. Within two hours I had received a text message stating Anthem pharmacy had received my RXs. In very few... Read More
