Alside window warranty is a joke. I have 16 windows that failed and have fogged in 3 years. The warranty representatives have poor phone service and calls get dropped. I have been contacting Alside weekly since April 2024 regarding a claim and I am unable to get any answers. DO NOT BUY ALSIDE WINDOWS if you would like to ever use their warranty.

I would never buy from Alside again. I have had nothing but issues with the tilt latches breaking. I also lost the gas in one window and was told I would have to pick up the window myself. The drive would have been almost a hour drive from my house to their warehouse. I feel I should not have to pick up a window especially when I paid for a whole house of new windows.

I am a customer of Alside Replacement Windows and I have made several warranty claims over the years. In fact, I am about to process another claim of several failed units. I can tell you that every prior claim was met with resistance; however, the key is persistence. The warranty service department, at least when my last claim was processed, was not a pleasant undertaking for the faint of heart. I consistently stated my case, over at least three phone conversations with the same representative before all of a sudden hearing your right sir. I must state to be clear that even after all of this the order was manufactured incorrectly. The issue however was able to be corrected in the... Read More

We purchased this large window (94" x 42") through a contractor and for a little over a year we loved our large bay window but then we came home to a crack in the window across the one corner ~3 feet long. We entered in our warranty claim and after a protracted amount of time was told that "sorry, we don't honor a glass claim and you didn't buy a glass warranty". We never even knew there was such a thing! Then, we brought in a local glass contractor who said that the window was very cheaply made and was not surprised it had cracked. In the meantime, our contractor told us he now has 2 other customers with Alside window warranty problems. So now we have to spend more $$$$ to get what we... Read More

We had double awning style windows installed in October, 2022. From day one, every window leaked water whenever it rained. After two visits from Alside to correct the issue our windows are still leaking. It has been 10 months and we are still waiting for a remedy.

We purchased 13 windows from Alside in the spring of 2022 the very first winter we had leaks up the runner and between the check rail and also between the bottom rail of the bottom sash with ice forming on the inside of our widows along with condensation. We tried several times to get a hold of our installer, but he never responded then when he finally did (After I wrote a review on his business page) my husband took off work on 2 different occasions to meet with him at our house and on both times, he called and canceled the day of said meeting. He and a Representative from the company came and looked at the windows and he agreed they were missing parts. We filed a claim with Alside only... Read More

Window replaced after 4 years, on original new home build. Warranty process is convoluted, including having to provide bill of sale of home (why do they need this)? They are putting up roadblocks and being passive/aggressive to need additional information to process the warranty claim - basically doing anything possible to avoid having to acutally honor their warranty. Never will use again.

we had half our house replaced with Alside Windows. Since 2016 we have now had 2 seals let go and more appear to be having problems. First warranty claim was a disaster as it took 3 times to get the correct sash made for our house (1st one came with 2 locks vs 1 that our sash had, 2nd one came with Window World Lock in middle that doesn't work with the lock on the bottom sash, 3rd finally came correct). Now we have a warranty claim in for another sash that is reallt bad and found out they expect us to drive to the nearest distributer to pick it up which is 2 hours away from our house. So, yes I would stay away from any company putting these in. You pay way too much for the junk you... Read More

I replaced ny door and windows in 2004. They were all alside. The company that installed the product was Above and Beyond. About a year and a half, one of the exterior panel fell off. I called the owner, who informed me they were not serving Alside. He proceeded to yell at me. No wonder he is not in business. One of the windows in my kitchen turned brown between the 2 glasses. 3 years ago I had to replace 2 windows. Now, I have to repolace 2 additional windows. I have no desire to buy Alside or use their warranty. I wish someone brought charges against them.

Impossible to get in touch with this company for replacement of defective windows. They were in our newly constructed home when we bought it and is not the builders fault the windows are sub-standard. Stay away from Alside as they have no customer service!
