Coway's AirMega air purifiers are designed to filter your indoor air up to four times per hour and they contain dual high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters as well as washable prefilters. The company doesn't go into detail about CADR ratings for every model on its website, but it does say its units filter out 99.97% of pollutants twice per hour. Capacity

Coway air purifiers are designed to filter anywhere from 330 square feet to 1,560 square feet, depending on the unit. This is a much wider range than you normally see with air purifiers, so it shouldn't be too difficult to find one that fits your space. Consider moving the company up on your list if you have a large room as few other manufacturers offer air purifiers this large. There's no way to filter results based on size, but you can see the square footage that each model can handle on its product page.

You'll also find information on the product page about the size of the unit itself. This corresponds to the size of the room it's designed to purify, with larger-capacity units taking up more room. The units are surprisingly compact for the spaces they're designed to filter and they're fairly lightweight too, so it shouldn't be too difficult to move them around the room if need be.

Features

All Coway AirMega air purifiers have smart technology that lets you know when your filters need changing. They can also detect the air quality in the room and automatically turn on and adjust speeds as necessary to keep your air free of contaminants. You cannot schedule them to run at certain times, but you can set up a timer so they automatically turn off after a certain number of hours. The S models also have Wi-Fi capability and Alexa compatibility so you can turn the unit on or off just using your voice. You don't find this many smart features with most other manufacturers' air purifiers, especially in this price range, so it's worth considering if you are interested in finding a model that will integrate well with your other smart home devices.

Cost

Coway air purifiers range in price from $229.99 to $749.00. This is pretty reasonable for air purifiers, especially for its larger-capacity units. Those who aren't able to pay for the full cost of the unit upfront can do so over several months, thanks to Coway's partnership with Affirm. The products are backed by a five-year limited warranty on the motor and electronic components as well as a one-year warranty on the other internal components.

You can purchase replacement filters through Coway's website, but these are a little pricey, costing over $100 in some cases. But you get quite a bit of mileage out of each one, especially if you're only running the unit occasionally, so this is something to weigh as well.
