STOPzilla is a line of internet security software made by iS3, a Florida-based software company founded in 1991 to provide security solutions for consumers and businesses worldwide. The STOPzilla line of products includes the STOPzilla AntiVirus, an antivirus protection solution; STOPzilla AntiMalware, a tool that provides protection from spyware, adware, and other online threats; STOPzilla Mobile, an antivirus, antimalware, and anti-theft app for protecting Android mobile devices; and STOPzilla Optimizer, a cleanup tool for computers.
STOPzilla was originally developed as a pop-up blocker in 2001. It was then enhanced to include anti-virus and anti-malware capabilities to provide better protection against most types of threats. STOPzilla contains real-time protection against malware and viruses with its extensive threat database. Users can schedule scans, perform low level sweeps for viruses without affecting your computer’s performance.
