I have paid off my auto loan but can not get my pay-off letter from this bank to get the title and my license plates, so I am not able to use my car!! That is so annoying! they sent me a pay-off letter with the wrong registration number and also my name was incorrect! I've had 3 trips to the MVC during a month, in this covid pandemic that you have to have an appointment from MVC not earlier than every 2 weeks! I asked them to correct and fax it to MVC, they said will do it in 5 days! seriously! 5 days to fax a letter?!! waited and went again to MVC but it hasn't been faxed, called them they said we will send you by mail, it will take 7 to 10 days, I waited again but never received it,... This citizens one auto loan bank actually has to work pretty hard to be as awful as they are. The website and online payment portals don’t speak to each other, after 3 years, numerous calls emails I’ve yet to receive ONE statement showing ongoing balance with payments applies. The only thing you can see online ( after 15 minutes to figure out where to find it) are dates payments received, but there’s Also several arbitrary payments and payment reversal unrelated to anything I’ve done. They said once it was because payment came through on a weekend? So they charge another payment And then immediately revers it. Even the agent said she has no explanation of how or why they do this and it... Read More

Steer very clear of Citizens One Auto Finance. Not sure what there credit approval underwriting criteria is but is not consumer friendly and certainly not good from a business standpoint. Graduated a year ago, hired as engineer out of school, starting at very good salary, 758 credit rating, one credit card that balance is paid in full monthly. Denied loan with a $430/mo payment.

This company has terrible customer service. Sends me a paid in full letter along with my title and two weeks later I get a letter from the collections department saying I am late and they reported me to the credit agencies. They said it was a processing mistake, but would not reach out to credit bureau to correct the error.

Having trouble with Auto Loan finance department. Trying to get payment history and payoff documentation for a Lemon Law buyback. Started this process on Thursday, they charge you $25 extra to fax, they stated it takes about an hour. Called on Friday because fax never came, then told it would take 24 hours. Called back on Saturday and Sunday, Monday was MLK didn't call. Still no fax today, Tuesday. Called back was told another 2 days to process. Meanwhile they already mailed the documents. I will never ever use this finance company again!!! Deal breaker for my next car purchase. Staff are arrogant and rude!!! Leave you on hold forever. I would give minus 50 stars if I could. I would... Citizen One Auto Finance defrauded me, after paying over $20,000+ off my car. They fraudulently took away my car, and requesting that i pay $10,000 cash. I have spoken to my lawyer, he will be taking this auto finance to court, so sad that people are working hard to payoff their car. But, because this auto finance company just wanted to make money off of every customer, regardless if the customer would go through hell. I will never ever in my life deal with this financial institution again

Almost impossible to contact at any time of the day.You can call the # but it goes to a recording.I have been on hold for over three hours at one time.No one ever answers. When I started this loan a couple of years ago, they screwed up the auto withdrawal from my bank. When my vehicle was paid off by a dealer, they took forever to post it.Now the recording state zero balance with the next payment being due at the end of the month. They also took a payment from my bank after I traded the car.I am still trying to contact someone to get my $300.00 + back.If you want lots of trouble, you can use this bank, but beware, you will never be able to talk to a live person,Qustions cannot be answered
