nbkc is a modern, FDIC-insured bank driven to make banking simple and transparent unlike any other bank. Leveraging technology, customer feedback and innovation, nbkc helps people and small businesses safely save, move and borrow money. nbkc offers personal checking, business banking, home loans nationwide, as well as certificates of deposit (CDs) and money market accounts. They are headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas serving a nationwide customer base with four physical locations in and around the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Account Features

Although nbkc only offers a single business checking account, it's meant to simplify business banking with its no-frills approach to accommodate businesses of all sizes. The bank doesn't charge transaction or monthly service fees, and all business account owners receive a free nbkc business debit card with access to over 32,000 free MoneyPass ATMs nationwide. If you use ATMs outside of the network, nbkc will refund you up to $12 per month for ATM fees.

The only fees associated with the nbkc business checking account are a $5 fee for every domestic wire you send and a $45 fee to send or receive international wires. Business owners can also choose to opt in to a Desktop Deposit add-on feature, which gives you the option to make unlimited deposits with check scanning equipment and unlimited nbkc account support for a low monthly fee.

Account Management and Support

Business checking account holders will have access to online banking where they can view their balance, pay bills, transfer money to other nbkc accounts and more. If you have an Apple or Android device, you can also download the bank's free mobile app that enables you to do all the things that online banking can do, as well as deposit checks by taking a picture with your phone's camera.

Except you can't link PayPal or Zelle to NBKC bank accounts so not very practical for most small businesses
