Google Workplace is a suite of cloud computing, productivity and collaboration tools developed by Google, the technology company founded in 1998 and based out of Mountain View, California. The suite consists of enterprise-directed versions of Google's hub of applications that are freely available to consumers, including Google Drive for storage, Google Docs for content creation and Gmail, Meet and Chat for communication.

Services and Features

Through Google Workspace, Google provides secure business email accounts under its Gmail platform. The platform allows business users to create their own email domain under the company's name, enjoy integration through the rest of its Google Workplace suite including Google Chat, Google Meet and Calendar and protect their users from spam and security threats. The service includes unlimited group email addresses and twice the storage of a personal Gmail account. 

Pricing

The company offers four plans: Business Starter, Business Standard, Business Plus and Enterprise. Starter includes up to 100 participant video meetings and 30 GB of pooled storage per user. The Standard plan includes 150 participants and 2 TB of pooled storage. Plus plans include 500 participants and 5 TB of pooled storage, while Enterprise includes up to 1000 participants. Starter plans start at $6 per user per month, while Standard starts at  $12 per user per month and Plus starts at $18 per user per month. Enterprise price is not listed as it is decided on a case by case basis. All plans can be purchased on a flexible monthly or annual commitment payment plan.

Reputation

Google is a very well known company with a reputation for making reliable, integrated systems. The company's approach to business email services rings true of its approach to other platforms available to the public such as Google Docs, Chrome and Android.
