State Farm Car Insurance review
I had SF car insurance for over 50 years, with only about 4 claims in all that time. I also have had my Homeowners policy with them (combined, off and on) for about 15 years. You would think they would offer better loyal customer, senior, or military discounts than they do. With the gigantic increases this year (Homeowners went up over $600 py) for the first time, I am seriously considering going to a cut rate company so we can afford at least some coverage. Very disappointed in SF after being a loyal customer for so long!

Liberty Mutual Auto Insurance review
Like all companies in the insurance business, you must check all company's renewal premium amounts before renewing. I had trouble with Allstate bumping up premiums for no reason. So, I bounced around to different companies. We went with Liberty in 2019 for auto. We have a motorcycle and I was quoted a premium that was about 500% higher for the same coverage I was quoted from progressive. So, I ended up buying my motorcycle coverage from Progressive. Liberty has been doing the same as nearly all insurance companies do but not too badly on our auto policy on our second annual renewal. We had homeowners insurance with Liberty from January 2010 with very reasonable premiums until sometime about 3 years later when they decided to suddenly TRIPLE our premiums with no explanation. We moved our homeowners policy to State Farm and they have reliably mostly left our premiums alone for 5 years while still beating the premium from Liberty by about 35% for the same coverage. We'll see if Liberty can maintain their integrity on our auto policy. I have only loyalty to those businesses who are loyal to me....ain't no one way street happening here. In short, as long as you only have to do it once a year, I say go out and re-quote all of your policies with 4 or 5 companies. It is a pain in the neck but can save you some cash and it is only once a year. Companies rely on consumers being lazy and creatures of habit. Don't fall into the complacency trap. Make them work for your business. We use 3 different insurance companies - Home: State Farm - Auto: Liberty - Motorcycle: Progressive - because I found out "bundling" is simply a scam to avoid any real competition. The word "bundling" sounds good but it's just a sales gimmick. Real meaning is found in the numbers.

Liberty Mutual Auto Insurance review
I recently switch to liberty mutual for both home and auto. Overall the rates were better than what I had and I'm not unhappy with the company. However, I did feel the quoting and sales process was somewhat deceptive. Over the course of our conversation, at 4 different points I was given what was presented as a "quote", and asked for verbal confirmation to continue with the purchase. Each time was followed by "a couple more questions". And each time the rate went up. I answered all questions exactly the same as I had for the online quote, yet my final rates were several hundred dollars higher than the initial quote. I'm sure these practices are not uncommon in this competitive market, but it still left a bad taste. If considering them, before committing, verify that they have already pulled your claims history and driving records and that they have asked all questions and gotten all of the information that could affect the final cost of the policy.

Liberty Mutual Auto Insurance review
I have been a Liberty Mutual client for nearly 10 years. I have auto, house and an umbrella policy with them. There coverages are excellent and comprehensive, with the second paragraph of the above coverage description being 100% inaccurate. I have always had both uninsured and underinsured as well as towing coverage - on both of my cars. the real benfit of Liberty is their claim experience. Regrettably,I have had to submit several auto claim, both liability and collision. In every case the claim was handled rapidly and efficiently and all repair costs, except my deductible, were immediately fully paid with no balking or haggling. The claims experience was actually enjoyable. Their rates are a bit higher than others, but worth it for both the coverage and the lack of claim hassle. BTW, they did not raise my premiums because of the accidents.

State Farm Car Insurance review
Been insured with State Farm for over 27 years on homes and autos. I moved from Indiana to Florida almost 3 yrs ago...my rates have increased 5-10% every 6 months since moving to Florida, whereas I barely had even a $3 increase each YEAR, if any at all on the same vehicle, while living in Indiana. I believe agents, and their greediness, have A LOT to do with any insurance experience. I used the roadside assistance coverage for the first time in those 27 yrs and the experience was painless...I’ll never change another tire myself again, as the cost of coverage is pennies!

State Farm Car Insurance review
We have had State Farm bundling everything since we were married 50 years ago. I think this insurance is as good as your agent. A good agent is an advocate for the client. I have never seen my current agent but she had a very competent & customer savvy front person. Since that person left after about 10 years, I am very disappointed. Nobody reviews my insurance or finds the discounts for us. I have to initiate and even when they are applied the rates still increase. I am thinking of looking at Shelter Insurance where the girl who was so customer friendly went. How often are the agents claiming credit that their staff deserves?
