Sears Carpet & Air Duct Cleaning features a wide range of home cleaning services for carpets, air ducts, upholstery, tile and grout surfaces, dryer vents, and hardwood floors. For carpet cleaning specifically, Sears uses a hot water extraction technique, where a heated cleaning solution is sprayed on the carpet to loosen dirt and the solution is then extracted with a rinse that removes soiling. Depending on the type of cleaning the consumer selects, a carpet protector and deodorizer can also be applied, which protects fibers from future staining and removes unpleasant odors.
