Uploaded identification documents multiple times following all instructions: black background, all 4 sides of ID viewable, clear picture of back/front of ID but app keeps saying ID is not acceptable. Calling customer service was about as good as going outside and yelling at the clouds, they were absolutely useless by retelling me the same instructions the app provided. Went to Current Bank and uploaded the exact same pictures of ID and was signed up without any errors whatsoever. Will definitely tell anybody who'll listen to avoid wasting their time applying with Sofi as it seems they're more interested in automation and automated replies versus real customer interactions.
