United Health Care, which is underwritten by Golden Rule, has been cancelling dental insurance plans without notice. As a 4 year customer, I was surprised to find out that I not longer had insurance with them and they would not reinstate the policy. Apparently, they put the incorrect credit card info in their system and when they could not get the payment approved, they cancelled the policy. The online agent said they had sent a notice but we never received it and no one at United could reference the type of notice (i.e. email, letter, etc.) or date.

Went to the dentist for a xamination because of a aching tooth. Saw in the claim section the amount submitted for $372 of which your company paid $50. This is dental coverage! GIVE ME A BREAK. I've been using your services for several years, and the cost has not changed. Remember under the current leadership in Washington, we are in a inflationary situation and pricing that you have used five years ago or longer present a severe hardship on the senior members of society. society. SHAME ON YOU. Considering going to the Arkansas Department insurance for this obvious FRAUD.

DO NOT GET DENTAL INSURANCE THROUGH UHC!!!! I have 3 different patients and all 3 got denied their claims for major services. ALL 3 had benefits for what they received and one way or another UHC denied them all. Now one of my patient's has her daughter who is an attorney involved that's how shady this company is. They do not care about you!!! They just want their premiums and then not pay for anything!!!!

UHC Dental, under their Medicare Advantage, is horrible! The website gives incorrect information on ALL claims, those they deny and those they pay. Be prepared to wait for 25 minutes or more after being transferred at least four times! I think they want you to hang up on them as they put you on hold and transfer to overseas! I will switch companies soon.

Dear CEO , United Health Care/ Golden Rule I had a dental plan with United Health Care for more than 5 years. However, United Healthcare transfered my plan to golden rule at higher premium. Recently I went the dental doctor under the network of Golden Rule. The provider informed me that they did not accept Golden Rule Insurance from 2019. I informed the same to the customer service of Golden Rule and the lady of customer service emailed me the list of dental doctors under Golden Rule net work near my area. I called all the providers indicated in the above emailed and everybody told that they did not accept Golden Rule Insurance any more. Today, I called Customer Service of Golden... Read More

I am trying to get a claim paid on a crown that I sent intra oral pictures and Xrays and narrative on, as the tooth is clearly cracked on photo's and large amalgam broken out of it so deep it required a build up to stabilize and they refuse to pay. It has been turned into Texas to file complaint. They say it may take up to 6 months to get an answer. Ridiculous out of 27 years experience, this is the first fight with all evidence showing a need.

TYPICAL low life scum. They deny most coverage with all kinds of excuses, over and over, until you give up. Only once in a while do they let some ones treatment get covered by them, because they have to let at least a small amount of their customers to give good reviews, but the rest they kick to the way side, because it saves them money.

I currently work for a dental office and have nothing but trouble attempting to get any pre-determinations approved or large claims paid by UHC. Our patients have tried calling, I have emailed, faxed, mailed and sent electronically. They constantly "don't have anything on file" for anything over $300. I have filed complaints with the Ohio Insurance Commissioner. I would expect to start on the social media bashing of their denial tactics to save money! I have worked in the dental field for 22 years and this is by far the worst dental insurance ever.
