I have Long Term Disability issues. I have been working with Guardian for approximately five years, and it has been the worst five years of our life. Guardian is a terrible company, and they train their people to be as terrible as their overall company shows themselves. We have, outstanding appeal that they will not address. They regularly forget to pay me my monthly allotment. And they will not communicate with me about claim status, update of determination based upon the piles and piles of paperwork they expect you to fill out at their whim. If your employer uses Guardian, Choose another company. They are that bad. It has been five years of frustration. Many many many phone calls and... Read More

They give you nothing but a run around hire nothing but non English speaking people Case manager doesn't do the job except looking for a keyword to deny your claim. I get why they have no direct line to your Case manager and they are afraid to use their last names!!!

This company is so horrible, when you are lucky enough to get someone on the phone you must endure listening to how short staffed, they are because the case managers are constantly quitting. After filing the claim and getting approved they send the case to a Technical Consultant who are rude, unknowledgeable, argumentative, and VERY condescending These people should be in data entry in an office without a phone. But yet these are the monsters you have no choice but to listen to, they never listen to you and have no ability to comprehend what you're saying, they lack empathy and compassion along with no communication skills. You are rushed off the phone because they state they have no time... Read More
