The Kenmore Elite 14673 dishwasher is an excellent all-around dishwashing machine. It offers performance features that few other units share, such as integration with Alexa, a dedicated control app, individually-controllable upper and lower wash chambers, three racks, and a full array of wash cycles. It runs more quietly than some of its more upscale competitors and uses about the same amount of electricity. Its stainless steel exterior conveys modernity and strength and its warranty meets the minimum expectations for machines of this class. It would be hard to go wrong by choosing this unit

The Kenmore Elite 14673 dishwasher has a plain stainless steel front, a brawny ribbon-shaped handle that thickens at each end, and a tiny pilot light. The handle gives the appliance a distinctive, rugged look and harmonizes well with other Kenmore Elite appliances, but less so with other brands. The interior of the tub is made of stainless steel, which makes it easy to look deep inside. Racks are colored light grey with red accents that make it easy to locate and use the special racking features. The unit's top controls are identified in black-on-sliver type, which might be difficult for some consumers to read, especially in low light. Overall, the Kenmore Elite 14673 is a handsome, contemporary-looking machine with some unique design cues.

The dishwasher is Energy Star rated and consumer an average amount of electricity for members of its class. It produces 44 dB, a sound level lower than some of its more expensive competitors.

The basic warranty on the Kenmore Elite 14673 dishwasher runs for one year, which is the minimum acceptable length of time for a dishwasher in this class. Parts, but not labor, are warranted for two years. Kenmore does not warrant its electronic control modules for any longer than this--and those modules are often the first part of the appliance to fail. Further, a technical specialist is sometimes required to install these modules, which can mean a significant bill for labor costs. Kenmore is unusual for manufacturers in this category in that the company warrants the dishwasher racks for a full five years. The tub and inner door are warranted for the life of the machine, but these parts don't fail very often, even on much older machines. In comparison to other dishwashers in this category, the Kenmore warranty comes up a little short.

Bought the dishwasher in 2018. The control panel crashed within a year. Had t put tape over the top seam to stop water from dripping off the counter and shorting out the panel. Today, just on 3 years old, water got into the base and cost $300 to fix. This is a piece of crap. Do not waste your money.

I have had a Kenmore Elite dishwasher for 1 1/2 years.... I have YET to get one clean load of dishes.. this is the biggest POS I have ever purchased. I do all my dishes but Gand, no use in using a brand new dishwasher....
