Toronto-based Ecobee is a home security company founded in 2007. The company sells home security systems that are all touch-screen and integrated with Alexa. Their systems communicate through Wi-Fi and know when doors are opened, monitor and control temperature, and have a proximity sensor, all of which can be controlled with a smartphone.

Terrible New Thermostat, Ecobee refused to fix it or replace it after a month of failure
Stay away from the new version, lots and lots of problems, errors, setting high temperature just by it self, wifi dropping, Homekit “No Response” all the time. Since they sold the company its going downhill..STAY AWAY
