DomainPeople has been in business since 1999, making it one of the older firms of its kind. It offers hosted Exchange services that are on a par with many other players in the industry. Its prices are somewhat higher and its service are slightly less expansive than its competitors, making it not as good a value as other firms of its type.

Features - 3 / 5

DomainPeople offers hosted Exchange 2010, an older version than offered by some of its competitors. As most other similar firms do, the company offers anti-spam/anti-virus protection, a free 30-day trial, and 24/7/365 tech support. The company offers a 100% uptime guarantee. These features put it on par with many others in the industry.

Pricing - 3 / 5

DomainPeople's starter hosted Exchange package costs $8.50 per user per month for between 1 and 49 malboxes. It's not clear whether that price is in Canadian or US dollars, but in either case, this is somewhat higher than many of its competitors. This price includes storage of up to 25 GB per mailbox, which is half what other companies provide. An unspecified discount is available to customers who pay annually instead of monthly.

Integrations

Supported Microsoft Apps

  • Outlook
  • Outlook Web App
  • SharePoint

Support - 4 / 5

It appears that DomainPeople uses Exchange 2010, while many of its competitors have moved to more recent releases. Smooth integration with this older version of Exchange may be problematic for some users.

Reputation & Support - 3.5 / 5

DomainPeople is accredited by the BBB and is rated A+ by that organization. The only two reviews of the company are both negative, but neither of them has anything to do with the firm's hosted Exchange services. There are other complaints about the company's customer service and tech support online, but again these do not concern the firm's hosted Exchange services. Without direct information about DomainPeople's hosted Exchange operations, it's difficult to make a confident positive assessment of the company's reputation.
