IdentityForce offers a full range of personal identity theft services that are on par, if not better, than some of the industry’s best.

However, its full potential is only available with the UltraSecure + Credit offer, which comes at a price.

Though, it quickly makes up for this by offering A+ customer service which is certainly worth the extra dollars.

What Does IdentityForce Protect?

UltraSecure

  • Continuously monitors your personal information to detect illegal trading and selling
  • Comprehensive public records monitoring including criminal, court and sex offender records
  • Instant notification when your personal information is being misused
  • Gives consumers the power to act before the damage is done
  • 24/7 fully-managed restoration services from Certified Protection Experts
  • Saves you hundreds of hours by completing all the paperwork, making calls and handling every detail

UltraSecure + Credit

  • All UltraSecure features plus
  • Daily 3 Bureau Credit monitoring
  • 3-Bureau Credit Reports
  • 3-Bureau Credit Scores
  • Monthly Score Tracker

*** ChildWatch comes as an optional add-on for both plans

Family Plan (can be added to both UltraSecure and UltraSecure + Credit)

  • Includes 2 adults
  • Unlimited children 25 years and under living in the same household
  • Only available over the phone

Services

Monitoring Yes
Fraud Alerts Yes
Credit Freeze Gives assistance
Reimbursement Insurance Yes up to $1 million
Resolution Gives assistance
Restoration Gives assistance

*** IdentityForce offers Credit monitoring but this option is only available for its more expensive plan UltraSecure + Credit. This is certainly surprising since credit fraud is the major reason why personal identity theft occurs. Most personal identity companies offer this in their basic or entry-level plans which might be a huge turn down for cost-conscious buyers.

Features

Support Staff professional representatives ready to assist
Restoration and recovery assistance takes care of paperwork and call handling
Pre-emptive actions protects all your personal information to prevent unauthorized use
Customer support

24/7 availability, get help when you need it, toll-free calls

IdentityForce also offers investment account alerts. Customers who sign up for this feature receive email and mobile alerts when there is a deposit, withdrawal, duplicate transaction, or balance transfer related to their 401(K), brokerage, and financial accounts. These alerts detect possible fraud related to investment accounts and can be configured to specific thresholds. They are delivered via email and mobile push notifications.

*** IdentityForce offers protection for businesses. This ensures that all their employees and their customer data remain secure. The company also works with federal, state and other government agencies to provide a cost-effective solution for identity theft protection.

IdentityForce also offers an app called IdentityForce Mobile that monitors and alerts app users to a wide array of threats including rogue apps, spyware, unsecured Wi-Fi connections, and fake or “spoof” networks. The app allows members rapid access to identity restoration experts ready to help, as well as a snapshot view of their dashboard for all alert notifications. IdentityForce Mobile features facial recognition and touch ID for increased security.

Prices

  • UltraSecure $12.99 per month, $129.90 per year
  • UltraSecure + Credit $19.99 per month, $199.90 per year
  • Ultra Secure Family $24.90 per month, $249.50 per year
  • UltraSecure+Credit Family $35.90 per month, $359.00 per year

Consumer Reviews & Industry Recognition

With over four decades in the business and an excellent customer experience record, IdentityForce has received an A+ rating from BBB. 24/7 customer support and expert assistance during a crisis make IdentityForce a solid example of business and customer relationship.

IdentityForce received the Identity Protection Service Provider Best in Class Award for 2019 from Javelin Strategy and Research, a well-regarded business and consumer advisory firm. IdentityForce received particularly high marks in the Prevention, Detection, and Resolution categories of Javelin’s assessment.

Bottom Line

IdentityForce provides excellent personal identity protection services that include everything from monitoring to resolution. It provides identity threat alerts related to current security breaches. It also offers its clients Social Security number monitoring, which alerts customers if there’s an unfamiliar name, alias, or address associated with their Social Security number which could indicate fraud. Unlike some of its competitors, all of the company's identity restoration specialists are physically in the US. Customers can access their information through the IdentityForce app. Its investment account alerts are an innovative feature that few of their competitors offer.

It should be noted, though, that credit-related services are only available in their top-tier plan.

I too had extremely poor experience with customer service ! I used the same user name and password that I had been using since opening my account. Yesterday 3/17/19, I attempted to open my account only to be locked out after using my user name and password. I called customer service speaking with Wendy(originally) who advised me she could not open my account unless I faxed them my Drivers License with picture on it along with a utility bill to establish my identity which I did. After not hearing back I re contacted customer service(long wait again) speaking this time to Derick. Derick advised me the picture on the license was not clear therefore would not reopen my account. I again faxed... Read More

It is a joke that this company has high rating. There needs to be a protection plan to protect consumers from any advocate that gives this company accolades. Their website signup doesn't work and their tech support doesn't exist. The people you talk to are hostile and combative and are really just messengers to a supposed tech staff that leaves early on long weekends and obviously is not available evenings, weekends or holidays. Why would anybody want to engage this firm. Anyone who rates this firm highly must be a shill employed by the firm.

I tried calling Identity Force to speak to a manager and was told by Shyesha (a rude customer service rep) that there is NO manager on Duty.It was 5:30 p.m This is not the first time I have been told this by a Identity Force customer service rep. I have been told I can ONLY talk to the original manager handling the issue with my service BUT the Problem is I can never seem to talk to her and they will Not tell me "Wendy's" hours so I can try to call in that time frame. It has been impossible to resolve my issues. Communication has been at a 0. Why is it taking months to fix my issues???

Kept getting email and text alerts about sex offenders. I am a Certified Fraud Examiner in addition to numerous other credentials supporting my qualifications at conducting white collar crime investigations. Receiving alerts on sex offenders has no value in protecting my identity. Contacted customer service by telephone and was informed that there was no option toward stopping the alerts. I then emailed customer service hoping that my compliant would be directed to the proper channel. Almost immediately, received a reply that my account was canceled. What a waste of money!

UPDATE - 11/02/17 Scott, a Senior Vice President with IdentityForce, reached out to me the next morning to let me know he looked into the matter personally and apologize for the experience I had. Scott assured me that the Restoration Team would be reaching out to work with me further. Thank you for looking into this and getting back so quickly. [Original review] The absolute worst customer service I've ever seen. I'm disputing a collection with Transunion currently, and have reached out to IdentityForce multiple times for help. At one point they asked me "what would you like us to do about it?" They haven't provided any help. And they STILL have not "notified" me of OR detected the... Read More

The issue is 3 items. 1. System cannot grab account balances off of listed accounts. Take Wells Fargo as an example, One login has immediate access to 3 accounts. The system pulls the balance for 2 of the 3. See attachments. 2. The system does not pull account balance for 8 of the 18 account 'monitored'. These accounts were all logged into and 'verified' by identity force and some work fine on the daily transaction pull. 3. The system does not pull daily transactions on the Bank and Credit Card Activity report. I am sure all these issues are related. I also would a credit of free month(s) in my account equally the amount of time it takes you to correct the issues. At this point I... Read More

Be careful that you understand EXACTLY what they do or else you may end up feeling all warm and fuzzy/secure inside and gladly paying a monthly fee only to find out that what the security that they APPEARED to offer turns out being nothing more than an alert if your email appears on line somewhere! I made several large transactions, and even bought a new truck while with this Identity Force. No a single person reached out to ensure it was even me!

I just signed up with Identity Force, and was frustrated and disappointed before I even started using their services. It's been 12 hours since I signed up and I can't get their protection plan activated and running smoothly, however, payment went thru easily without any issues. My issues were hardly resolve due to a poor customer service. Customer service was mean and lack good manners dealing with a customer. They need to learn how to deal with customers properly and to project and exercise good business relation if they really wanted to promote their business, and not a threatening type if I said that I am cancelling my enrollment due to a poor customer service. It's not a good start... Read More
