Do not use kitchen tune-up they suck. The work they have done is falling apart
Replacing all of our cabinets was too expensive and would have totally disrupted our life during the project. Kitchentune-up was a great alternative and quite frankly the new door and drawerfonts work better than the original kitchen Just sad that we waited so long to make the change. A truly professional installation that took only a little more than 2 days with minimal disruption to our kitchen. Definitely a 5 star job. Can't wait to do a similar install on our next house.
After a consult, It took a month to receive the quote (Jenny claimed she emailed it and Kitchen-Tune Up's system was not working properly). I gave her the benefit of the doubt and paid my deposit. I STILL HAVE NOT APPROVED ANYTHING! Which of course means an order has not been placed. AND SHE HAS MY DEPOSIT. She will not call me and every 3 or so weeks will sent a text "I sent you something to approve via email . . . let me resend". Still waiting for that resend (after requesting several times via text). This company and franchise . . . AWFUL!
Date of Transaction - July 2021 Amount - $9500+ Kitchen Tune-up as the primary contractor agreed to remove kitchen countertop, cabinet doors, paint cabinet boxes; install new cabinet doors with upgraded hinges; and install backsplash. Problem #1: After botched painting of the cabinet boxes on October 18-19, 2021, the boxes were repainted by a professional. KTU informed me that I had to take delivery of my cabinet doors because they could be stored while the boxes were repainted. Doors delivered 2 days later than agreed upon & unbeknownst to me until 01/10/22 when the doors were installed, THE DOORS WERE NOT PREPPED FOR INSTALLATION. I wish I would have read the review by Flona 1/30 22 before I had Kitchen Tune-Up do my cabinets. I would have saved a lot of money and grief if I would have read the reviews by James Trezza & Past C, Reviews did not state the city or state but it still the same Franchise Co. Kitchen Tune-Up . Kitchen Tuneup, Tyler Texas To be avoided at all costs if you are looking for a professional standard of cabinet painting and a reasonable price. This company is expensive, does not deliver the basics and cuts corners at every step. There was no preparation at all on the cabinet surfaces. Just sprayed paint over dust, dirt and anything on the surface of the drawers. They used latex paint instead of oil based and, after assuring me the outcome would be just as good, the paint peeled and chipped all over. We bought a house in Sept, 2021 and had the consultant from Kitchen Tune-up, Niceville, FL location come in for a review of our needs and wants for the kitchen and bathrooms. The consultant was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She told me that she would have a quote the next afternoon. However, we never heard from her! I gave her a few days and sent her a text. No reply. A few more days and sent an email. No response. Completely ghosted! Very unprofessional! If she did not want my business, she should have just said so. I found another company to do my kitchen and bathroom makeover!

This is a REAL HONEST REVIEW...I recently bought a home 8/20 that had refacing done (2018-19) of the entire kitchen cabinets, replacement doors and drawers by Kitchen Tune Up. I needed a side refrigerator panel installed and the upper cabinet moved forward along with warranty work since the plastic refacing was falling off several cabinets and bubbling. Unfortunately, getting Kitchen Tune up's contact person, Jeff the "owner" or basically anyone to return phone calls, texts to confirm scheduling was impossible. In late 2020 Kitchen Tune-Up replaced all the cabinet doors and drawer faces in our master and main bathrooms and laundry room. They did an amazing job and every cabinet looks brand new! The installers were extremely meticulous and paid attention to every little detail resulting in a professional finish and all rooms looking exceptional.
