Instant Immersion Review
Instant Immersion promises to help you learn 120 languages through a series of interactive and audio content.
There’s no shortage of content.
The course is brimming with information.
And one good selling point is pricing.
The course is relatively cheaper compared to similar courses reviewed.
What’s included?
Instant Immersion is available in different formats.
It is available as software in CD/DVD, MP3 in audio CD, could be downloaded online and an entirely online edition.
It’s Family Edition contains Levels 1,2,3 Phrase book, 7 languages and retails for $49.95.
While Download Edition - software plus bonus audio -Levels 1,2,3 - 120 languages and sells for $44.95.
It also has a fully online offer.
Format
- Online Edition - Levels 1,2,3
- Instant Immersion Levels 1,2,3
- Audio - MP3, Audio transcript, 7 languages
How does it work?
There’s no shortage of content here.
It makes use of an extensive dictionary and flashcards in an “attempt” to immerse you in a new language.
Nothing really special here, it’s just a mix of what run-of-the-mill language courses in the market.
There is no real pattern to learning.
It starts with building your vocabulary, commonly used phrases, and audio lessons.
Instant Immersion crams you with so much information that there is no clear transition between lessons.
There is no clear path into how lessons are designed, just tons and tons of content.
And all of this at the end of the course hopefully teaches you a new language.
- Flashcards and dictionary
- Basic course
- Lessons are presented in different levels of complexity presented through exercises which don't really vary in terms of content
Costs
Instant Immersion scores high in terms of cost just because of the sheer amount of content available at its price.
Compared to the other language learning courses that retail at hundreds of dollars that basically offer outdated audio lessons, its multimedia content beats them hands down.
Great if your just planning to visit another country and would like to get around a new city.
Family Edition - Levels 1,2,3 Phrase book, 7 languages $49.95
Download Edition - software plus bonus audio -Levels 1,2,3 - 120 languages $44.95
Bottom Line
There’s really nothing special or anything new with the course.
It seems that the course is actually a compilation of similar learning courses combined to help “immerse” students in a new language.
“Immerse” is a perfect word to describe this because you are thrown information without a discernable pattern in an attempt to teach you a new language.
Instant Immersion is relatively cheap but if you think you could handle the content then it could be a bargain.
