LegalZoom provides customers with an easy and fast alternative for creating a last will and testament online. The basic package allows customers to craft a personalized will tailored for their state with a professional revision for only $69. Other packages give the option of a legal advice subscription and of including powers of attorney and living wills in a complete Estate Plan. Depending on the consumer's state, notarizing the will may not be necessary, but LegalZoom's document revision may justify the price tag. Though the company has less than stellar reviews, it appears as if the complaints revolve around their legal advice membership, so customers who use their document preparation service may find they do not apply.

LegalZoom Service

Pricing - 4.8 / 5

LegalZoom offers an entire suite of legal products, including the preparation of legal documents like prenuptial agreements and estate planning documents. The latter includes last will and testaments, which guides customers through an online wizard that gathers information on themselves, their assets and their family members and creates a customized will tailored to fit your state's requirements. This includes the Peace of Mind Review™ so your document is reviewed to make sure all required information is included and that it is spelled correctly. Once the will is completed, customers may print their own copy or have one mailed to them. Many states do not require its citizens to notarize their wills to legally execute it, only a witnessed signature. However, wills are accompanied by the relevant instructions to make it valid.
