The Grounds Guys are a landscaping and lawn care services provider based in Orange, Texas. Started in 1987, the company was bought by the Dwyer Group in 2010 and now has 180 franchises around the United States. The Grounds Guys provide both commercial and residential groundskeeping services, design of outdoor spaces, snow and ice management, gutter cleaning, and installation of irrigation systems and outdoor lighting.

Very poor quality work and absolutely no follow through. My yard is worse than it was when they started and the patio they put in is very poor quality, not level and unprofessional! I have waited 2 years to write this rotten
recommendation hoping they would do what they said they would do. But they did not. I would NEVER use this company.
I had the opportunity to speak with an employee and Owner and my experience was horrible . Please do not do Business with this Company located in Norcross . As a business owner myself I understand the importance of customer service and I think you should treat everyone with respect it costs you nothing. Every place I can warn people not to do business with this company I will I would hate for them to experience what I did.
We were rather excited to see a franchised landscape maintenance company introduced in our area, expecting good work and consistency. We started service in Jan 2020. The staff is nice, but the service was lackluster. They were very hasty and sloppy. They left a lot of debris in the rocks, on our patio, and in the bushes, and frequently missed the weeds we discussed in person. Knowing that new service requires a learning curve, we took pictures of things missed, they told us it would remedied, and after 3 months, nothing changed. Via email, we would resend pictures of the very same exact issues that were untouched and ask to address it, but they simply ignored the email and follow-up phone... Read More
This was the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. On 9/21/18 I approved the estimate for a retaining wall. I was told they would be there the next week to start. They never showed up so I followed up with emails and phones calls weekly with no response. They finally showed up on Oct. 29th. I went with the owner to pick out block for the wall, I chose a block from what he showed me were my options. He had me pay for the material upfront. The next day he told me he did not realize how much the material would cost so he would be using a lesser quality so he wouldn't lose money (I waited over a month to get my refund for the difference in price). The Grounds Guys also get high marks for their practice of providing upfront pricing, that is, telling their clients exactly what they can expect to pay before starting the work. However, as with all franchises, it is hard to determine the overall quality of services as this can vary widely depending on who operates the branch. Since the company does not appear to have reviews on Trustpilot and only has one review on the Better Business Bureau, it's difficult to get a true measure of customer experience. We recommend that every consumer checks their particular branch's reviews to gauge its reputation.
Overall though, given the high standards set for their franchisees, their comprehensive list of services, and 24/7 customer care, The Grounds Guys can be considered a great choice within the lawn care field.
