Founded in 2021, Wysh is an online term life insurer that focuses on creating fully personalized life insurance plans. Billed as a “digital disruptor”, Wysh aims to use technology to change the way term life insurance is designed and purchased, allowing customers to buy a customized product based on ‘Wyshes”, the areas of your financial life you want to attend to while you are living and if you were to die unexpectedly.

Overall Rating: 5 / 5 (Excellent)

With its novel approach to term life insurance policies, Wysh offers a 100% online application that can be completed in less than 10 minutes and requires no medical examinations, just a few medical questions. Plans are completely personalized, allowing the customer to choose the things they want to be protected with their policies. It also features flexible coverage that you can increase or decrease depending on your stage of life.

Wysh's claim process can work with lenders, banks, and creditors to help make the claim process smooth and provide peace of mind to families during difficult times.

Although the product is currently available in only 38 states and the District of Columbia, Wysh plans to keep adding service areas so more customers can purchase coverage.

Policies & Coverage - 5 / 5

Wysh is unique among life insurance providers in that it does not offer traditional term life insurance policies with predetermined term limits and death benefit maximums or minimums. Instead, it asks customers to answer questions regarding the things that are most important to them and develops a highly personalized plan around those answers.

Using the Wysh Builder tool, the customer can come up with exactly the right amount of coverage needed. The areas you can build your “wyshes” around are:
• Debts - to protect families from taking on debts such as mortgages, student loans, car payments, and credit cards.
• Loved ones - to provide for your children’s education, protect your partner, make sure your pet or plants are taken care of, provide care for parents or any other dependents.
• Loose ends - to prepare for unknown factors such as medical bills, rent payments, funerary expenses, or other unexpected outcomes.
• Legacy - to carry out your wishes after your death, such as gifting a dream wedding, giving cash as a gift, providing for your chosen charity, sending your ashes into space, or any other custom legacy you wish to leave behind.

The company’s Wysh Granters take care of settling claims while working directly with your banks and lenders, so your family does not have to worry about the process during difficult times.

Flexibility and Available Riders

Flexibility & Available Riders - 5 / 5

Wysh plans automatically include Terminal Illness and Wellness coverage. These are policy features that are often only available through the purchase of policy riders.

Your company committed fraud against me, at 71 year old senior, charging my credit without my signature or approval. Now you refuse to give my money back and I am forced to file an insurance department complaint as well as BBB and consumer advocates. You are rotten thieves!!!!!
