Overall Rating: 4.9 / 5 (Excellent)

ACSIA Partners is one of the largest long-term care brokers in the United States. Because it represents multiple companies, it can offer many different long-term care policies all over the United States. While there is little to go on to gauge the company's reputation, the fact that the company does such a large amount of business and yet has not been involved in any reported consumer litigation or been named in any negative BBB reviews suggests that the company does a good job of keeping its promises. It places policies with some of the largest, most financially sound insurers in the country. For consumers who want an agent's help in comparison shopping long-term care policies, ACSIA Partners is a great choice.

Policies & Coverage

Policies & Coverage - 5 / 5

As a long-term care insurance agent, ACSIA Partners does not write insurance policies or determine what they cover and do not cover. This depends on the policy's underwriter. But because ACSIA Partners works with multiple companies, it should have options that will appeal to you no matter what you're looking for in a long-term care insurance policy.

ACSIA Partners Reputation

Customer Service - 5 / 5

Although ACSIA Partners has an A+ rating from the BBB, it's had no reviews or complaints, so it's not possible to tell how responsive the company is to consumer issues. The company claims to have an excellent rating on TrustPilot, but the link it provides directs to the TrustPilot page for another company, CompleteLongTermCare.com, based in Cleveland. There is some information online that suggests that CompleteLongTermCare.com is operated by ACSIA Partners, but that information is not available on either company's website. Neither company appears to have been involved in any reported consumer litigation. ACSIA claims to be one of the largest long-term care insurance agents in the country. This claim is plausible, since its agents regularly win the lion's share of sales awards given by the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance.

Very disappointed that the agent I dealt with turned out to be very pushy and to authoritative. I thought maybe he had trouble dealing with women. He was very good and informative in the presentation but when in came to answering questions he was lengthy and unclear. There were questions where yes or no would suffice and he turned it into essay answers. Maybe it was just the agent I got. His name was Jay Charno. He was so rude and it left such a bad taste that not only do I not want to deal with him every again but it has turned me off to Mutual of Omaha completely even thou they are rated as one of the top 2 companies in the country for LTC insurance.

Disappointed with the service provided to my wife and I about out request for LTC. When we asked the agent for clarification on a recent delay in our application process, the responses were limited and the agent took forever to respond. When we requested to speak with a representative at the insurance company, we were told our applications were withdrawn and that a price increase was being planned next month. Quite disturbing that we would be treated in this manner for the type of product we were looking to invest in.
