The Process

Babeth's Feast offers main courses, side dishes, appetizers, desserts, baked goods, and food for those with dietary restrictions. The majority of the dishes are prepared using the Sous-Vide method of cooking, then flash-frozen to retain freshness and flavor. The Sous-Vide method allows the food to be cooked low-and-slow in individual vacuum-sealed pouches, which simmer in a water bath. This innovative style of cooking allows all of the ingredients to cook evenly and, because the food is vacuum-sealed, there is no need for preservatives.

Babeth's Feast's flash-frozen, vacuum-sealed pouches are easy to prepare. Simply reheat each pouch in water for 15 minutes or less, and then serve.
