MedicareEnrollment.com is a great source of information for those looking to learn about Medicare. It provides consumers with thorough information about what each plan entails and can connect them with other companies that are able to offer Medicare supplement insurance. We recommend MedicareEnrollment.com for anyone looking to brief themselves on the particulars of Medicare before enrolling in a program.

Medicare Enrollment Coverage

Level of Coverage - 4.5 / 5

MedicareEnrollment.com can provide consumers with plenty of information about Medicare plans, but can't write Medicare supplement insurance themselves. Instead, a consumer should call the phone number listed to speak with a licensed health professional who can help you enroll in the right plan.

Plan Types

  • Plan A - Will cover hospital medical bills for inpatient hospital care, skilled nursing facilities and hospice care. This coverage is free for seniors who have paid at least ten-years of Medicare taxes while being employed.
  • Plan B - Will cover medical bills from doctor’s services and other outpatient care such as lab testing, diagnostic and preventative care services and medical supplies that are medically necessary. Seniors must pay a monthly premium for Part B coverage.
  • Plan C - Often referred to as Medicare Advantage, it offers the same coverage as Medicare Part A & B, but is offered by a private insurance carrier instead of the government. May include additional coverage benefits for the same cost as Part B premium.
  • Plan D - Also prescription drug coverage, seniors are encouraged to enroll if they have Parts A & B. Many Part C plans offer prescription drug coverage so you may not need a Part D plan.
