Medigap-Quote.net Medicare Supplement Insurance Review
Medigap-Quote.net Overview
Medigap-Quote.net is an online marketplace representing over 30 supplemental Medicare insurance providers. Although the company is an aggregator, you are not required to enter your phone number to get quotes as they are available via email. Medigap-Quote.net does not sell or redistribute your information in any way. If you as a customer decide to go with Medigap-Quote.net, the company guarantees you will only be contacted by ONE agent who represents all of the available companies in your area.
Medigap-Quote.net offers supplemental Medicare insurance from such partners as Transamerica, UnitedHealthcare, and Aetna. Medigap plan structures are strictly enforced by the federal government. They are named A through N and differ in terms of how much they cover in terms of the gaps in Medicare. Since they are offered through private companies, though, the only difference is generally the price and available doctors. Medigap-Quote.net can help customers get the best price considering their area and needs.

COVERAGE
Medigap coverage pays for the out of pocket expenses associated with traditional Medicare plans. These can include doctor office and hospital copayments, deductibles, and coinsurance. Plans A-N do this to varying degrees with F being the most comprehensive, taking care of all costs Medicare misses. Specific coverages and percentage of coverages depend on the plan. Once your end is met, however, Medigap plans will pay for 100% of your further Medicare costs with no annual limit. As far as pricing goes, monthly premiums will vary by provider.
Interestingly, one of the biggest perks of Medicare supplemental insurance is that it can cover you if you are traveling outside the country.

QUALIFICATIONS
In order to qualify for Medigap coverage you must be 65 years or older and reside in a state where the policy is offered. Certain allowances can be made for those under the age of 65 if they are suffering from end-stage Renal disease, or certain disabilities. As far as pre-existing conditions go, if you apply for Medigap coverage when you are first eligible (within 6 months of your 65th birthday) you cannot be turned down or denied renewal because of a pre-existing condition. If, however, you enroll outside of this window, approval will be at the discretion of the provider.
