Our move with AmeriSafe Moving Services was incredibly smooth! The team was well-coordinated, communicated effectively, and handled our items with care. Moving can be a daunting task, but this company made it a positive and streamlined experience.
Worst move I have experienced and I have been through many. Pick up was not so bad, though we did have to pay extra to have a definite day for delivery rather than a range of days. We were charged for wrapping tables and bookcases (furniture that should have been included?). The actual area that our one bedroom apartment took up on the truck was 4 times the estimate given by the company. Someone was way off. No inventory was left with us, so we were up to trusting they would deliver all of the boxes. It took 3 weeks of our furniture being on the truck before they finally delivered by then some of the boxes smelled moldy. We were told repeatably that they were only a couple days... Read More

I decided to go with Amerisafe based on a friend's recommendation and the positive reviews I saw online. However, my experience with them turned into a nightmare. Initially quoted at $1857, I was shocked to find myself paying nearly $1000 over the phone and expected to pay an additional $857 via credit card on the day of pickup. When the movers arrived, they demanded an extra $1024 on my credit card before even starting the move, and then insisted on $888 in cash for delivery, charges not outlined in the contract.
