We met with a guy on the phone, told him what we had, and he quoted us and sent us an email. AmeriSafe delivered with their trucks and did not outsource the transfer to anybody else. They delivered on time.
I was retiring and going from Southern California to North Carolina, and I received three bids. AmeriSafe contacted and inquired what I had. I walked through each room and informed them, and their pricing was competitive. The movers were also good. Everything is currently in storage.
They simply arranged everything in the living room. After everything happened, AmeriSafe Moving provided us with payment information that included postal money orders. So we should have gotten postal money orders to begin with. So we were partially responsible. However, they charged us extra for having to wait to unload. On the other side, moving out was beneficial. The people that packed and loaded our belongings performed a terrific job. They appeared like lovely men. They simply came and finished their work.
The movers of AmeriSafe are really friendly. They were here for two hours because we had issues trying to fit things in. But everything went really smoothly. Everything was fine with the condition of the items. They took care of everything and they were all very friendly and helpful. The move went rather smooth. They got my piano in, which was really the most important thing. They're a good cross-country company.
