The company does sell subscriptions to its service, but neither the price nor what's included in the subscription is listed on the website. The website also mentions per-answer fees and extra fees for some services, but again there is no specific information about these costs. The company only presents you with fees when you ask a question and enter your credit card information. At that point, you are asked to sign up for $1 trial membership. No regular subscription or per question fees are quoted at that time. That makes judging the value of the service difficult. Moreover, providing a credit card without understanding how it will be charged may make some users uncomfortable and we certainly understand that concern.
