We bought Aloha almost 3 years ago. The actual software is decent, as long as you don't expect too much. There is no inventory module which really sucks. However, the customer service we have experienced from NCR is REALLY horrific. How about waiting 2 weeks for a keyboard replacement and missing payroll? Yes, a keyboard. I could have just gone and bought one, but it's their system so I'm not allowed. Then there is the server that goes down and 6 days later still no replacement. We cannot batch credit cards, so our money has been tied up. We still have no idea when it will arrive, despite assurances that it's "on the way". We are DONE with NCR and say Aloha to Aloha. The Support line has gone from bad to worse. Today my credit card system went down and there was a busy signal. Usually i have to wait an hour but now they don't bother to help you with there so called 24 hour service. When running a restaurant you have to have a reliable credit card processing system and when it goes down it is the worst thing ever. Don't buy into this system, its a joke and there representatives follow scripts that drag you along for hours more confused then ever. Most of the time i figure out how to fix my issues before the guy on the other line. Usually a waste of time to call support and that is what you need most.
