WildBlue is no longer available for purchase. Although still serving some legacy customers, WildBlue is now doing business as Viasat residential internet service.

WildBlue launched its service aboard the U.S. capacity of Telesat’s Anik F2 satellite launched in July 2004. WildBlue-1, WildBlue’s second satellite, was built by Space Systems / Loral and went into service in early 2007. In August 2009, WildBlue activated service on a third satellite, AMC-15. In October 2011, WildBlue and its parent company, ViaSat, launched ViaSat-1 a highly-capable communications satellite. This communication platform delivers next generation broadband services to customers in North America.

We have had Wildblue a couple of years and it always buffers. We can never watch a full program of anything. Will be switching providers...
