Kashkick Paid Surveys Review
Payment
Kashkick is one of the rare survey and loyalty apps that doesn't use a point system. When you decide to take the company up on an offer, you know exactly how much you can potentially earn. Payment is made through Paypal. Kashkick doesn't collect any sensitive personal data from you—for example, you don't need to provide a bank account number or debit card—to facilitate payment.
Before you can convert your rewards to cash, you must meet a minimum threshold of $10 in your Kashkick account. That's a pretty low bar and no doubt entices many users.
Kashkick advertises that once you request payment, you'll receive your cash in one to three days. But Kashkick's reputation for quick payment is mixed. The consensus among consumers is that the company is quick to settle up with you on small amounts. But once you have accumulated a large balance of rewards, Kashkick isn't so anxious to part with its money. Reviewers on the Better Business Bureau website complain of poor customer service when making inquiries into missing payments—they frequently report getting the runaround. So it may make sense to cash out frequently, rather than accumulating a large balance in your Kashkick account.
Mobile App
The Kashkick app earns 4.5 out of 5 stars from IOS users who rate it at the Apple App store. Android users are a little less generous, awarding the app 3.0 out of 5 stars. You can also use Kashkick online if you prefer not to download the Kashkick app.
If you're interested in taking surveys, you will need to complete a profile through the app. The profile asks questions about your sex, age, race, income, and more. That's so market researchers can accurately identify whether you're a likely purchaser of their products.
Survey Alternatives
Surveys are just one way to earn rewards using Kashkick. The product presents you with lots of opportunities to "play", including watching videos, signing up for free trials, and playing mobile games you may already be playing. The day we explored what Kashkick was offering, we could earn by playing Monopoly Go or Yahtzee or opening an account with an online investment app. Uber was using the platform to attract new drivers: the company was offering a $125 reward for signing up and completing your first ride within 45 days. That's a pretty nice sign-on bonus.
One nice feature we noted: Kashkick app makes it easy to toggle between surveys, games, and other offers so you can see your choices and earning potential on any given day at a glance. If you're willing to put in the time, you can have a very varied earning experience through Kashkick.
Reputation:
Kashkick has a spotty reputation online. The Better Business Bureau give Kashkick LLC its worst (F) rating and reviewers on the site generally present their experience as something not so different from being scammed. Users on Trustpilot, however, took a more positive view of the product, awarding in 3.7 out of 5 stars. Reasons for positive reviews included helpful technical service and general responsiveness.
Bottom Line:
Despite its less-than-stellar reputation, Kashkick is legit. It offers a user-friendly mobile app. The company pays you through your Paypal account, so it's a safe way to exchange services for cash. In addition to surveys, the product offers other ways to benefit from being a user. You're not going to earn oodles of money using Kashkick. As far as an hourly wage is concerned, you'll net less than $2 per hour. But if you're looking for something to do while binge watching the latest season of Sweet Magnolias or riding the subway to work, the app can keep you busy and probably pay for your weekly Starbucks habit.
