Overall Rating: 3.9 / 5 (Very good)

PureHost slightly more expensive than most other companies in the market, but this is to be expected given its focus on providing hosting to businesses. Consumers should keep in mind there isn't much information about their background and their advertised prices could be substantially higher if they desire the security features which, for most consumers and businesses, are already essential.

DellHost became PureHost several years ago, which is now "powered by web.com". Since I created my website around thirty years ago (using DellHost), the support has been getting worse. PureHost support can no longer be contacted by phone or email, only by semi-automated chat. My site keeps having server 500-series and SSL reset errors. The latest problems have been occurring regularly for around 3 months.

I have been waiting for over 3 days for there so called team of engineers to get my website back up after they dropped the ball on there end. Don't trust them, they don't have it together. My website crashes about 4 times a year and takes multiple attempt to get them to do the work they promise to do. sitelock should be called sitecrash! Martin T. Peterson
