According to the company website, SkinnyRx offers one weight loss plan that combines GLP-1 medication with meal planning to help customers achieve their weight goals. The company charges in advance for the semaglutide injections, after which customers are supposed to complete a questionnaire about their health, weight goals and overall profile. 

After that, they will be connected to a physician through SkinnyRx’s platform. This specialist will determine whether or not the customer is eligible for weight loss medication. Aside from medication, customers are also supposed to receive a personalized meal program. If for some reason the physician doesn’t recommend GLP-1 medication, customers are entitled to a refund that doesn’t include the physician's consultation fee.

Plans and Pricing

SkinnyRx’s semaglutide Weight Management program has a monthly cost of $395, according to the website. However, another section of the company website states the program starts at $99 per month, which is conflicting information. The program includes the following services:

• A telehealth doctor’s appointment

• An in-depth metabolic test

• Weekly updated meal plans

• Daily nutrition curriculums

• Guidance from dieticians

Unlike other weight loss program providers, Skinny Rx doesn’t accept insurance, HSA or FSA cards as forms of payment. 

Reputation

SkinnyRx is not currently rated by or registered with the Better Business Bureau. There is also virtually no verifiable information online regarding the company itself.  Furthermore, the company website prominently displays an icon stating that it has received a 4.8 rating from 5,400 reviews with no link to these reviews or any information on where to find them. By diving into the company website’s terms and conditions, we found it’s related to a company called Lean Rx, Inc., but didn’t find information on that either. 

Customer Experience

Unfortunately, there are currently no customer reviews available online for SkinnyRx’s weight loss program. Although the company has a claimed profile on Trustpilot, it has yet to receive any ratings from customers. For this reason, we were unable to gauge consumer satisfaction or experience surrounding the company’s services. And, as mentioned above, we were also not able to verify the customer reviews SkinnyRx claims to have on its website.
