90+ Cellars acts as a modern-day négociant--a company that buys wine from various vineyards and sells it under its own label. This arrangement potentially benefits both the winemaker and the consumer. The vineyard is able to sell more of its wine and the consumer can buy it without paying the premium attached to a "name" label. 90+ Cellars offers these wines for sale individually or as part of several different wine club subscriptions.

Membership Programs

90+ Cellars puts its own labels on quality wines and delivers them to the members in its wine clubs. The company offers two clubs, The Quarterly Wine Club and the Rosé Summer Wine Club.

Members of The Quarterly Wine Club get 3, 6 or 12 bottles of wine delivered to them four times a year. The 3-bottle option delivers a mixture of reds and whites and costs $50 per shipment. The 6 and 12 bottle options offer members all reds or a mixture of reds and whites. The 6-bottle option costs $95 per shipment while the 12-bottle option costs $180 per shipment. These prices include shipping.

The Rosé Summer Wine Club sends shipments of rosés to members in May, June, July, and August of each year. Members can opt to receive 3 or 6 bottles per shipment. The 3-bottle option runs $50 per shipment and the 6-bottle option costs $95 per shipment.

Wines are also available for individual purchase. As of this writing, the company offers 30 reds, 12 whites, 6 sparkling wines, 13 rosés, and 2 sangrias.  

The company plans to have a winter sparkling wine club, but no details are available about this yet.

Wine tasting notes are included in each club shipment. Members are also entitled to a 15% discount on additional purchases.

Shipment

90+ Cellars delivers to 30 states plus the District of Columbia. It does not deliver to Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, or West Virginia. 

Members who place their orders before 4:00 PM EST will have their wine shipped within three to five business days. Customers receive an email containing the tracking number. Wine is shipped from Rhode Island via UPS Ground and must be signed for by someone at least 21 years old who has a valid form of ID. Depending on your location, it can take between two to five business days for the wine box to arrive. Wine club pricing includes shipping charges but does not include sales tax, which may be charged depending on where the club member lives. Flawed bottles, incorrect selections, and bottles damaged in shipment may be returned free of charge.

Shipment Schedule

The Quarterly Wine Club ships every three months, while the Rosé Summer Wine Club ships once a month in May, June, July, and August.

Members can customize their orders in terms of the number of bottles and the style of wine being purchased.
