Dinnerly has a meal subscription program that lets consumers enjoy flexible meal delivery services. Its flexible delivery service allows clients to skip weekly deliveries or even pause deliveries anytime. Two box size options are available for consumers to choose from. The Two-person box serves 2 adults with a three time delivery schedule. Meat, fish, and dairy products can be stored for up to 4 days in the fridge.

Dinnerly's sight is very difficult to navigate. Too many times I've gotten meals I don't want. Items missing from box, like the protein, only spices and potatoes. I canceled my subscription asap but was told I have to take and pay for the next box. The meals in this box are not even things we like. I thought I wasn't getting another box. They want you to eat a hamburger every week. Evidently. I don't recommend Dinnerly. I told them I would send the box back when it's delivered tomorrow, they told me I can't do that. I was told to donate the food to the food bank. The food bank isn't going to take fresh meat and a bunch of one time use seasonings. There are too many other places... Read More

I was a customer for two orders....Seems like customer service is not available for any questions or comments. I have tried live chat, emails, etc. No response. I call that POOR customer service. I have tried a few others since Dinnerly and have to say my items were packed much neater and not just thrown in a box. Since trying two other competitors with similar prices, I would say Dinnerly is skimpier on the items they send. I have also had a few missing things, which I did get credit for on one.

I just received my first order. Disappointingly, there were ingredients missing, such that none of the meals were complete. I called customer service and relayed the missing components. I was told I would be given $15 credit for the missing items so I can go buy them myself in the store. That is ridiculous. A very disappointed customer,

We signed up for Dinnerly as a few trial, just pay shipping. The first box arrived one day late and everything was room temperature. Contacted them and they refunded shipping cost. We then tried to cancel the service online but was informed the next box had already shipped. That box arrived a day late and taped up. The delivery man told us that half the contents fell out and suggested we not eat anything in it. Again, everything was warm and had to be thrown away. That's been about two months ago. The service was finally cancelled but we have made no progress on receiving a refund for the second shipment. We've contacted them by email and phone with no progress. Do not order this service.

I'm single and usually cooking just for myself. I'm also an "adventurous" eater. I cook from Dinnerly quite often. The ingredients are sourced from the same providers as those for Marley Spoon and are excellent. One meal in each week's worth of recipes usually requires the addition of a green salad or other vegetable to round it out. Also, I add herbs to some recipes that would otherwise be a bit bland for me. Even with those additions, the value is still quite good and the convenience is priceless. I still belong to Marley Spoon and Blue Apron, and when I don't like what Dinnerly's featuring, I'll usually order from one of them instead.

I really enjoyed the food but delivery reliability is not good. Customer service response time is poor and you can't speak to anyone. I don't like how they charge your account a week in advance. I think it should be charged on the day of shipping. Did not receive my box this week and they credited my account rather than my payment method. I am considering cancelling the service (after I get my next box that I paid for).

My husband and I have been using the Dinnerly Meal Delivery service for a couple of months now. Most of the meals have been good but need more flavor to them. A couple of issues we have is the $8.99 price for delivery. It is too high and a few times the vegetables like green peppers and potatoes have been damaged. For that price, they should have a way to protect the vegetables during the shipping process. I did a low star rating the week the vegetables came damaged and have not heard anything from the company. It's not fair that I have to replace the damaged items after already paying for them. What a dreadful company. The food arrived, and some of it was fresh, and some of it spoiled before it could be eaten. I "paused" the additional meals they had pre-set up for me to receive, but they sent one anyway. When I got the notice it was being sent, I tried to cancel and called "customer service" and was told it could not be canceled. Take my advice and stay as far away from this company as you can.

I honestly do not know how this service has such a high rating. My experience with Dinnerly was horrible. I cancelled the service after the first box was delivered. First, as I was signing up and paying, I had a discount that made the total for my first box $56 plus tax, when I hit "pay and select meals", suddenly that discount turned into a $10 discount making my first box well over $100. Then, my box was delayed a day, when it arrived it was teeming with ants, all the ingredients were just thrown in the box and the food was barely cold. First, I didn't like that I had to pay before I could even need the meal choices. Second, they have a limited selection. And very few options for dietary restrictions. I am gluten free. Third, the amount of food you get for 2 people is definitely not enough to feed 2 people. I wish I had weighed my meat portion because I am absolutely sure it was not 8 oz! I wish I could post a picture of the serving. This,was my first and last order. And to be honest, the meat was tough.
