Really bad experience with Bosch warranty service for my wall oven. I bought a bench mark series combo wall oven in Feb 2020. In Oct 2020 oven interior paint had an issue and warranty service offered a replacement with new unit, since it was not repairable. It took 4 months to send the replacement. When I received it, I noticed that it is a used unit with dust and rust all over it!!! I rejected that one. That after a lot of follow up they it took an other 4 months to send an other replacement. This time after installation I noticed that oven blower has an issue and making a grinding sound. Then they offered an other replacement which I am still waiting for. I just called Bosch because my refrigerator internal ice maker stopped working. It is July 15, 2021 and customer service tells me the 1st available appt is August 5th, 2021. What, I have to wait three weeks. The option I was given is to call not contracted repair but I have to schedule the appt my self. I didn't pay for a $3000 refrigerator to have this issue 5 months into owner ship to wait three weeks before someone will come out to service it. I an now on hold for a supervisor and she tells me shes escalating this to the highest level. WTH does that mean, I have to complain for Bosch to take notice. What a bunch of BS this company is. I had the worst experience with Bosch Appliance USA . They finally swapped out a very high end Refrigerator that they could not fix . They sent their completely incompetent installers to swap it out and ended up breaking a water line , flooding my home causing extensive damage, left it uninstalled . Water went thru my wood floors and ceiling into my basement and crawspace. It was a nightmare . They refused to give me there insurance information to file a claim . Constantly sending me from one person to another . They were even rude when I called again to ask for a higher escalation .They would not escalate it . I will have to hire an attorney to sue them just to get them to file a claim .... Read More
The wait was long, but well worth it... the gentleman I talked to really knew the dishwasher I was talking about and gave me practical advise and two repair places to call, one in Moorhead ( hour away) and one in Bemidji (almost two hours away) so I will call the store I purchased it at before I call for repair to one of these places...but he was the best person I’ve ever talked to at a customer service place....
4th Technician here they are now saying our floor isn't level and that is why the left door slams shut on you.
Under 6 months warranty, still they are trying a new hinge, they are not fixing it and it took months to get service. They are quite frankly one of the worst refrigerator appliance I have owned in 40 years. Don't buy Bosch.
Bosch uses cheap brittle plastics in their microwaves and ovens. After 4 or 5 years the switches and latches fail. The front of our microwave fell off. The workings of the units are fine so I gave them 2 stars.
They got my money, I got a defective dishwasher and a flooded basement. One week ago I got new Bosch dishwasher installed. After two loads I realized it was pouring water into the basement. I had to tear off the ceiling and the carpet is now buckling. Gigantic mess! It is a manufacturing defect. There is a deep kink in the outtake hose so the there wasn't a good seal. Getting help has been TERRIBLE! I had repair appointment Tuesday May11. They called and wanted to move it to Friday May 7. I said it didn't work for me, I WORK. Bosch customer service is the worst I have experienced in years. We bought three Bosch home appliances this past year: dishwasher, microwave, and oven. There has been a problem with all three, The worst problem was the drain hose that split open and ruined our wood flooring over a week's period. 1800 square feet of wood have to be replaced now and my family is living in hell during the replacement process. The microwave door was malfunctioning . The Bosch technician ordered the part, which we never received. We purchased a home that has a Bosch 300 Series stackable dryer. It would run but often shut down early in a cycle. Even when it did run all the way through, it did not get the clothes dry. We checked with the previous owners who had an extended warranty. We called for service but when we told them that we were new owners, they said we needed to transfer the warranty. That took an inordinate amount of time and effort but six weeks later we finally had a repair person come to our home. She was very nice, ran a few cycles, cleaned the filters, which I had already done, and then said it was working as it should and that we should not expect to have it get clothes as dry as a full size... My Bosch oven needed to have the timer board replaced in August 2020. Bosch was unable to schedule a repair until October, but I figured that BSH Appliance repari would be most familiar with the product and be able to do the job easily, so I waited. When the technician showed up, it was as if he had never seen a Bosch oven before. He struggled to figure out how to open it up and eventually had to call the home office for advice.
