4/23/2021: We purchased 7 of the custom Levolor Sheer Shade 'motorized' blinds three weeks ago through Lowes $4,800 and have had nothing but issues. We sat on hold for over an hour 2X waiting for a Levelor customer service rep and never reached a live person. They gave an automated option to key in our # for quicker return call (haha) and they returned my call 2 days later, when I was at work. The Lowes blinds repair man came last week (week two of ownership) and spent 2.5 hours troubleshooting. Now, yesterday (week 3 of ownership) 3 are again not functioning! ALL 7 have had problems. We had to replace all of the Levelor included batteries twice in the first two weeks, at 8 batteries x 7... Read More

I have 7 windows with Levolor mini blinds. Over the years they have been washed several time, always happy with the blinds. I needed to replace a dog damaged set of blinds. I held off as long as I could but they were getting pretty bad. I purchased a new Levolor mini blind to replace the old one. The quality of this blind is horrible. Won't raise or lower with out first changing the angle, metal slats are considerably thinner and flimsy. I am now looking to exchange from another window of the same size a 15 year old Levolor for the newer one. Very disappointed. Maybe someone makes a better quality mini blind.

Very bad engineering on the mounting brackets. The channel on the head of the blind that the tongue of the bracket engages is narrower than the tongue itself. Almost impossible to get it to engage. You'll notice the problem as soon as you unpack the box, because the mounting brackets are shipped inplace on the head of the blind. Good luck getting them off so you can attach them to the wall. The few brackets that I finally did get to engage required a tremendous about of force. These blinds were the "Cellular Shade" model. I'll never buy them again--worthless. You'll do better just hanging a sheet over your window.

We spent almost a thousand dollars last year, installing Levolor cordless cellular shades throughout our home. The shades that rarely get used work fine, but the bedroom shades get used every day and the retractors go bad within a couple of months. I've had Lowe's replace them a few times under warranty, but now the year is over and I'm on my own and will have to replace them out of pocket. I will find another brand and style of that will hold up to repeated use.

Two months ago I bought 3 Levolor blinds from Lowe's off the rack. They cost around $120 each. They were very difficult to open and close from the beginning. One is already broken-it will not close at all. Although they aren't my main thing, I'm in the home remodeling business and have installed over 100 blinds. These are terrible.

These were 140 dollars and they are cheap garbage, wrinkled, will not stay down. Super disappointed. They will be returned for refund. DO NOT BUY LEVOLOR CELLULAR SHADES/BLINDS. Huge waste of money. Watch the youtube videos showing how horrible these are and how often they malfunction. BRAND NEW and they would not stay down.

Ordered white Levolor blinds for our entire home through Home Depot and got Grey. :-(( Complained about it and eventually got a Levolor representative who agreed its not white but that's their white. Grey is the new white for Levolor. ??? Also the install was done in our absence and instead of replacing the new blinds where old one werek they took the easy way and now i have to spend more money to correct their mistake. Will never recommend Levolor to anyone.

I ordered 26 Levolor faux wood blinds through Lowe's and after waiting for over a month, they finally got delivered to me by Levolor. After opening the boxes, I found dirty products that had defects, dents, scratches, markings and looked like they were made of low quality materials. I would post pictures here if that was an option. All 26 boxes had some combination of these issues and one friend described them as having been "run over by a truck". I would describe them as having been thrown on the floor, dragged around and stomped on at the manufacturing plant. Some of the slats and valances were not cut cleanly, had shreds of the faux wood material sticking out, were chipped on the ends,... Read More

We purchased the Levelor banded shades through our local Home Depot. Because the top of our windows are about 10' off the floor, home depot suggested that we make a special request for a 6' pull cord. When they arrived they had only a 4' cord. What everyone (including Levelor) failed to tell us was that they don't even make a 6' pull cord. So now we have to get on a step ladder just to raise/lower our blinds. The answer from Levelor's allegedly "Outstanding" customer service was to spend even more money and upgrade to the motorized blinds. Funny bit is, we had originally inquired about the motorized, and were told that they woudn't fit our windows. Now, magically, they do. So many... Read More
