Allstate - Service and Features

Allstate business insurance offers business owners four main types of coverage to choose from: Business Owners Policy (BOP), Property Insurance, Liability Insurance, and Business Auto. The company’s Business Owners Policy (BOP) combines property insurance, liability coverage, and a variety of add-ons to protect business owners. BOP packages are tailored across 36 different business categories, and each package is customizable to fit each business owner’s needs. Property Insurance covers spoilage, valuable papers and records, employee dishonesty, computer and funds transfer fraud, business personal property, money and securities, business income and extra expenses, electronic data, building/personal property, business personal property, property in transit/off premises, and offers data compromise and accounts receivable protection. Allstate’s Liability Insurance offers general liability protection and coverage for products and complete operations. Additionally, business owners can add employers non-owned auto liability, miscellaneous professional liability, data compromise, and employment practices liability coverage. The Business Auto coverage offers liability protection, collision coverage, comprehensive solution, uninsured motorist coverage, and coverage for rented or borrowed vehicles.

Consumers can request a free quote online, over the phone, or through one of Allstate’s local agents by answering a few simple questions such as the business type (healthcare, professional services, household services, construction, restaurants and food services, and retail, among others), their desired coverage, partnerships with other companies, number of employees, type of property (rented or owned), and contact information. Once the consumer answers all these questions, they’ll get their free quote, and Allstate will recommend a local agent to answer any additional questions.

Allstate’s website is easy to navigate, and consumers have access to useful tools like insurance related articles, a local agent finder, and the company’s Small Business Connection program, which is designed to help and guide small business owners along the way. Additionally, consumers can file a claim through Allstate’s online portal, or over the phone, which is a plus for those who don’t want to waste any time when it comes to protecting their businesses.

Allstate offers customer support 24/7 via email, over the phone, or through the company's mobile app. Additionally, consumers can contact a local agent in case they need additional assistance.

Premiums and Deductibles

Allstate premiums and deductibles for business insurance vary depending on the size of the business, property and industry type, and desired coverage. Consumers can also choose among three tiers of coverage: basic, standard, or enhanced, which also vary in pricing.

Allstate offers consumers online and mobile bill payment, and consumers can pay their premiums in full, or split it into monthly payments. However, it should be noted that if the consumer decides to pay in full, Allstate will give them a discounted price based on their quote.
