Spectrum's agreement is pretty straightforward and hits all of the key points you'd expect to see in a business internet SLA, so customers should feel pretty confident that if they choose Spectrum, they'll be working with a reliable internet company and that any issues that arise will be resolved promptly.

Availability

Spectrum business internet is currently available in 43 states. This is a pretty large coverage area for an internet service provider, as most of them only cover a certain region. If you have a company that operates in several areas, Spectrum may suit you better than one of these smaller internet companies. The company offers fiber optic internet plans with speeds up to 940 Mbps, though available speeds vary somewhat depending on where you live. Customer Service

Spectrum received decent ratings in the latest American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) internet service providers survey. Internet companies rarely receive glowing reviews from companies, so it's not unusual to see a large number of complaints. However, most complaints appear to be geared toward Spectrum's residential services rather than its business services. In some ways, Spectrum stands out in terms of customer service because it offers many extra services along with its internet that you don't see with its competitors. These include free business email, a domain name, a free modem and a Security Suite. If you're interested in any of these, move Spectrum up on your list because you won't find these extras with many other business internet providers.

Contract Flexibility

Spectrum's business internet plans don't require you to sign a long-term service contract. This is starting to become the norm among internet service providers, but what is unusual is that Spectrum also doesn't require its customers to sign a contract if they choose to bundle business services. Other business telecommunications providers do make customers sign a contract if they want to bundle their services, so Spectrum is a good fit if you want to go completely contract-free.
