Coverage
Westminster Group offers professional and general liability coverage to protect you in case you're sued for malpractice, negligence or errors and omissions. Sole proprietors can purchase an individual policy while businesses with multiple employees/additional professionals can purchase group policies that cover all employees/additional professionals
Unfortunately, Westminster Group doesn't offer commercial property, worker's compensation or employee benefits coverage, so you may have to search elsewhere if you have company merchandise, equipment or vehicles that need insuring. But if your business is primarily you offering a service to your clients, liability coverage may be all you need.
Business Types Covered
Westminster Groups business insurance policies cater primarily to service providers, as opposed to product manufacturers. The company website has a long list of services it covers, including holistic health services, yoga and business coaching. The online quote tool enables you to enter separate services for you and each of your employees/additional professionals, so every person gets the coverage he or she needs to be adequately protected while working.
Business Size
You can purchase a business liability policy covering yourself and up to 34 employees. The first 19 employees cost $100 each and employees 20-34 cost an additional $70 each. You can also purchase an individual policy if your business doesn't have any employees other than you. Just select "Individual" when asked which type of policy you'd like in the online quote tool. Otherwise, select "Group."
Customer Support
When you go to the contact page of Westminster Group's insurance website, it directs you to reach out to its partner, Huntington Insurance (USA) or Assurances Bourgon, Inc (Canada). The full quote and policy purchase is done online so unless you require further information there is no need to contact them. But, if you require help you can reach the company by email or phone during its normal business hours. According to Westminster's website, these partners manage and accept regulatory responsibility on behalf of Westminster Group. Both programs are Insured by Certain Underwriters at Lloyds of London with an A.M. Best Guide Rating of A “Excellent” XV.
