I ordered from Avas Flowers for a birthday bouquet. I was shocked at the "service fee" of 24.95 listed on the invoice. It was already ordered and paid for so I went with it. The flowers were never delivered, and when someone from customer service finally called back, the reception was terrible and I couldn't understand them. They offered $5 off if I would let them deliver the next day. Well, the next day the flowers weren't delivered again. I got back in touch with customer service and they said they were unable to get in touch with the florist. I got a refund no problem. Months later, I ordered another bouquet from them. THE ABSOLUTE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! Spent over fours hours back and forth on ordering because they were incompetent-all while mourning the loss of my loved one! Requesting a manager call back on the second day of dealing with this. Flowers ordered were not what I ordered or spent $230 on for funeral and still have not had another arrangement delivered yet!!! If I could give a zero star I would!

Like so many others, my experience with Avas Flower Delivery was not a good one. I’ll give ½ star for prompt delivery, but everything else involved was not star worthy. The surprise service fee of $24.95 was only the beginning. Their website gives scammer vibes and I should have gone with my gut. I ordered a large bouquet for my friend whose mother had died. Had she not sent me a photo of the flowers I may have never known how terrible the arrangement was. I immediately tried to complain but got lost going in circles in their website. I blame myself for this scam. Generally, I look at reviews before using a company of which I’m not familiar. I did this order online for a bouquet to be delivered following day. A mid price. bouquet and Mylar balloon ultimately can to $101.00 with hidden “service” fees. A couple of weeks later, I asked my friend if she liked the flowers. She never received them though I had received notice they had been delivered. AFTER checking the reviews here and on Facebook, I saw that most people said this was a scam, that either the flowers were inferior or never received. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from Avas since my experience was like so many others. The order delivered looked nothing like the flower arrangement online, there were very few flowers in in it. I spent 30 min talking to a woman in customer service who apologized about the order and promised a new and improved order would be delivered the next day, it never happened. I will never order from this company again.

BUYER BEWARE, there's a 50/50 chance you will be dissapointed. I placed an online order for a medium sized spath/peace lily (live plant) for my uncle's funeral service and requested that it be delivered the day before the service as the service was the next morning. I also was surprised by the 24.95 service fee that doesn't show up until the very last minute when you check out, but proceeded anyway. My aunt also used them, but called in her order, since she's not computer literate. She didn't have any trouble reaching someone to place her order (this is important later on.) I am happy some customers were satisifed. I am not a satisfied customer however, as my delivery was never received by the person I had the flowers sent to. The company webisite continues to insist it had the flowers delivered (it contracts with local florists to actually create and deliver orders). There is no accountability and I also incurred a surprise $24.95 "handling fee" in spite of the advertised "free delivery". There is nothing free about this and I am out $70 and my friend who was recovering from surgery never got her floral arrangement. I would not recommend Ava's Flowers based on my experience.

I ordered flowers for a graveside service. It appears they were never delivered. I have requested a refund and am waiting. Will never use this company again.

We ordered "same day" delivery on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 and after delay after delay the family member we sent the flowers to finally received the flowers late Tuesday March, 12th (they were discovered on the 13th left in the snow. Apparently UPS, dropped them off outside per Avas's request. We order two (2) different beautiful bouquets (Totaling $115.00+ (according to the photo's) but what arrived looked worse than what I would see discounted at the grocery store for $5.00. What a terrible experience. I thought they were local to Green River, WY but I was wrong..... AVAS is nothing more than an ORDER CENTER. DO NOT USE THEM unless you like to be disappointed. Awful delivery I didn’t get what I paid for. I ordered a luxury bouquet and they sent 5 flowers and it looked nothing like the photo. The customer service reps were awful and didn’t even fix the order or follow up as guaranteed. I would never order from them again.
