When I first got mine, they were awesome. I was able to pair them to Bluetooth and hear sites on my phone in the hearing aids. Suddenly, the app would not pair. Now when I go on the app, it will not even recognize the aids. I loved it at first when I got them. Now, NOT!! Does anybody know if they have a troubleshooting site or a real person to talk to in order to fix this? UGH!!
THEY SQUEAL HAD THEM ADJUSTED, HAD TO HAVE THE SHOP FIX THEY 3 TIMES. MY OTHER PAIR NEVER HAD THIESE PROBLEMS. PROBABLY WONT BUY THEM AGAIN.
I am new to hearing aids so I thought it was just me being the problem until I saw some reviews here. I am not happy with these at all. I hear better on a landline phone without the aids.
They have a tinny sound, in a group I can't hear clearly.
When I push the button to make them louder or quiet, nothing changes in the sounds.

Ivor,
pros: Small and comfortable to wear. Good back up service. Blue tooth and phone options. Four modes for listening (automatic, music , noise, conversation in a crowded room) adjusted from mobile phone. Manual volume control.
cons: In my experience, automatic and music modes appear to be the same. They seem to automatically change the frequency range. This can be annoying especially when listening to music. The noise mode seems to reduce the higher frequencies and clarity. The conversation in a crowded room mode did not seem to improve anything.
My left hearing aid did fail but was repaired under the warranty.
I'm very surprised with the reviews because my Unitron bluetooth ones I got in February this year are amazing. They keep a charge for like 10-12 hours. They have literally changed my life!
I found the Clara hearing aids manufactured by Unitron and marketed by Audicus were completely useless. The sound was extremely tinny and unnatural. They did not focus on voice and cancel background noise as prominently advertised. Quite the opposite. I could not understand people standing right in front of me as their voices were drowned out by background noise. Further, there was no balance between them. Any sound emanating from one side would be picked only by the instrument on that side. This is not a case of simply getting used to hearing aids as I have worn them for several years. Unfortunately, I found it necessary to return them to Audicus after a single day of extremely... Read More
I have the Unitron Moxi Pro and they are excellent. I had trouble with the rechargeable batteries and new ones and charger will mail to me free. The Z power rechargeable battery company went bankrupt. So your audiologist should be in contact to either free batteries for the remaining warranty or to upgrade for a small fee. I am upgrading to the Discover Next Jump R T. It has blue tooth to both hearing aids versus one. 20 hearing environments vs 7. A simple email to my audiologist is all it took to upgrade. I have never paid mailing costs to return or receive items. I think a lot of what is happening is not Unitron, but with your audiologist. I have a reverse hearing loss, which is... Read More
I a pair of Unitron hearing aids in Ausust of 2019, the dealer retried at the end of 2019. Since then I had to take my Unitron hearing aids in to another dealer.( the nearest Unitron dealer is 90 miles away). After several adjustment the new dealer had to send in to Unitron for repairs. I had to pay for shipping and handling of $45. I will never buy another Unitron or recommend Unitron
I have a pair, I would not recommend these hearing aids , they will not hold a charge ! I can only get about five hours of hearing from them. I bought them from Advanced Audiology in Tulsa , Oklahoma. I am not new to hearing aids , this is my third pair. I expected better , and am very disappointed with Unitron and with my audiologist , $5000. is too much to pay for poor performance !
I have had L and R Unitron hearing aids for about a year and have never received a level of clarity that enables me to hear conversation across a small group of people not ten feet from me nor a person across from me in a booth in a restaurant. Paid $6,000 for the pair from a hearing specialist. Why?
I purchased the Unitron rechargeable aids last summer. After a few weeks, the right side began to fail after 8 or 9 hours of use, sometimes less. My wonderful audiologist arranged with Unitron to replace the door and battery. Again, everything fine for a couple of weeks, then the right side started to fail again. This time the company replaced the doors, wires, batteries and charger. The next day, the left side started to fail about every other day, lasting no longer than 11 or 12 hours max. I haven’t contacted my audiologist yet, but I’m very frustrated that $5000 doesn’t buy a reliable product. Am considering just using regular batteries and skipping the irritation.
going to see contact person again concerns product not performing as should person is helpful seems every 6 weeks or 3months concerns with rechargeable batteries this is not what i call a good product asking for refund from company or upgrade of product who or where can I go to get this is their others with this issue
My dad spent $6,000.00 on a pair of Unitron hearing aids had nothing but issues spent most of the time sending in to get fixed. Then they told him they quit making parts for them he only had them a couple years.Don't waste you money!!!!!
I am on my third set of unitons. Frankly the best performing for me where my previous Moxi 20s which had no Bluetooth features. Seems the more features added above and beyond hearing processing abilities are of limited value for most users and add to cost and potential malfunctions. Dito with the rechargeable battery feature which falls into the that catagory.
When my current unions start giving trouble I am seriously considering repairing my old aids and keep the newest aids as spares. Do not misinterprete what I am saying as a negative review of Unitron far from it these have been overall a fine product and I recommend the brand with little reservations.
At the moment, I can only say that the Unitron Moxi Series is really horrible. It's been one thing after another, rechargeable battery failures, charger failures, the aid itself failure. I've been having problems from the get go Dec. 16th. It is now Feb. 8th and with a new aid, new batteries and new charger, one of the two aids still is failing on me! Fortunately, the Group that I've purchased this from has been working we me concerning failures and problems. I believe the problem is that Unitron put out a product that wasn't fully tested and a lot of others are experiencing glitches. This has delayed my departure from my home state for months. I am on my way to complain AGAIN and see what... Read More
