20 years & if I get a new roof they will be gone. In 2015 my shingles were curling & had hail damage. Now 2019 I have missing shingles due to wind & hail. It has been over a week & 2 adjuster's only to hear nothing. I am sure they will deny this claim like they did the 2015 & if so, I will be hiring me an attorney. Read the book " from good hands to boxing gloves." Written by an attorney after dealing with Allstate. I also have my cars through them & I dropped 1 of 4 so I still have 3 for a multi car discount. My friggin insurance went up $86.00... are you kidding me? So done with this rip off company

I was insured with Allstate for the past 6 years, and in January a tree fell on our house, and hell broke loose when the adjuster came. He was snooping around my home. I rent my home for occasional residential purposes which is completely within the policy, however the dragged out a 4 week investigation and decided that I had lied on the application. I have been asking for a copy of the document they have based their decision on for 4 months, and I'm getting the run around. They hang up on my, don't rely to certified mail inquiries, the agent has block my number. They are the numb er one company for bad faith insurance practice!!! Now I know why. they refused to cover claim on the first wind and hail damage . they concluded that there was no apparent leak and dammage was under the deductible. got another wind and hail storm that caused leaks. the report showed that some of the issues was from the previous wind and hail storm that got worse. they calculated depreciation of the roof extremely high and price the repair to the lowest value. I ended up with a low fraction of the dollar value of the repair cost after deduction that was not enough to fix the entire affected area. had to find my own way out. they increased the cost of the policy by $250.00 and took away my no claim discount.

How can any company that writes a named peril policy and pays out actual cash value on a home be one of the top home insurance companies in Texas? It sounds to me that this list is based on who will pay for the rating versus what the policy actually covers.

I have a bathtub leak that has rotted my bathroom subfloor. The leak was not there in November, 2018. It was noticed on January 3, 2019. I was told by a claims rep NOT to make any repairs until their adjuster could come out. They came out today (2/12/19). Yes, I’ve waited this long. And I’ve been told that they probably won’t pay for the damages. I will never use AllState again. They will do everything in their power not to pay. Oh...I’ve had to deal with one adjuster that decided to pass me off to another adjuster. Not cool at all. Adjuster 1 implied that my claim would be covered. Adjuster 2 implied no coverage. Is there a way to leave no stars? All State is a bunch of criminals, in good hands my ass! I have never in my life had to file a homer owners insurance claim and after this experience I hope I never do again. We have been with All-State for 6 years now since we bought the house back in 2013. We pay every month on time and have never been late once. Last year there was a large hail storm that came through our area. Everyone was hit, including us. We have hail damage on our fence that is visible, the insurance company will admit that there is hail damage on the metal gutters. However, they refuse to cover our claim and repair the roof. Been with Allstate for over 50 years, had a fire and ended up at doctors because of stress, NEVER deal with them if you have a fire, do not walk but RUN to attorney that only deals with insurance claims, I listened to Allstate customer service reps telling me not to spend the 10% they will charge, I am telling you 20% would of been more than worth it. Been over a year and still owed money, I have started to write a book. Title -- In good Hands Not so fast

I’ve been a customer of Allstate for 30 years with my car and 32 years with my house. Filed a claim for my Home do to shingles flying of in some bad storms we just had and was told I will be getting no help with this .hey're bad when it comes to claiming roof repairs. The roofing company I talked to does not even recommend All state because they always deny claims!!! Not recommended! So much for being in good hands

I’ve been a customer of Allstate for 12 years with my car and 7 years with my house. Filed a claim for my car when I was rear ended and they where no help had to handle it myself. Filed a claim for my house recently do to shingles flying of in some bad storms we just had and was told I will be getting no help with this ether. So much for being in good hands
